Can you remember one story almost the same as this one where it was a skin condition the child had not an eating disorder and the I think the mum was unofficially sent to women selling home made soap that's meant to cure all skin ailments which was the same but with those 2 different products ? This kinda reminds me of one of the stories in Three Extremes. I think Dumplings is the full movie version of it, but it's a very similar premise
