I season any meat before I cook it. The smell of unseasoned meat is gross.
My childhood school trauma was in 1st grade, I moved from Texas to Nebraska. I tried to make friends on the playground but no one would even talk to me. I didn't have a whole lot of friends in Texas but no one ever just ignored me for no reason. I went home and looked in the mirror to see what was so wrong with me that no one would even say "hi" back to me. I was born with a cleft lip and pallette so one nostril was flatter than the other and I had a scar under that flat nostril. That was literally the only difference I could see.
That day, I decided that if kids were gonna judge me on how I looked when it wasn't my fault, they weren't friends I needed.
Oh, and once in high school, I was a freshman and I started falling down the stairs as I was walking up them. A senior helped me get upright and I was so embarrassed as I thanked him.

Onions rot if too moist. Store at room temp with air circulation. Tomatoes store better on the counter for best flavor. After cutting of course refrigerate or freeze.
Peppers store well at room temp as well. Cucumbers we grow stay on the counter unless they're cut.
Baked or microwaved potatoes can be refrigerated.

The only time we rinse ground meat is if we are dehydrating it for storage. Removing the oil makes it last longer.
