Roberto Prosseda plays Mozart’s Fantasia K 397 at the Pedal Piano.

Mozart owned a pedalflügel made by Anton Walter and in 1785 he gave a concert at the National Hoftheater in Wien performing two Fantasias at his Pedal Piano. According to this fascinating historical information, Roberto Prosseda plays Mozart’s Fantasias at his modern pedal piano, using the pedalboard to enhance the depth and dramatic effects given by the bass notes and emphasising the dynamic contrasts.
