  1. This is fun topic maybe if no one knows what to do with it "I" say keep it the way it is and turn it in to a SPOOKY ARTSY URBEX MUSEUM and keep it safe by spraying a layer of acrylic medium the highest quality crystal clear EVERYWHERE LIKE GLASS possible so it's like a inclosed inside and safe after few months to go in with out a mask and sell tickets and make millions of dollars and have work for people as well and creating jobs in area of intrest 🙂

  2. Wow, there are too many people here that blame their problems on the PM. There is no housing crisis and the PM doesn't set prices of houses.
There is a wage crisis. The more that Cons make it harder for labour unions to exist, the greater the wage gap gets.

  3. Pierre's attitude about a home for Canada's Prime Minister is a clear tell of what his policies will be regarding foreign affairs. Libertarians' are nationalist that really don't think outside their own little world.

  4. Only bourgeois socialists would be looking to build a multi million dollar house for the serpentine tru doh, while thousands of Canadians live on the streets or are close to that reality.Under the NDPLIB socialist cartel Canada has been crushed into oblivion. Its high time Canadians start showing their disgust with the snakes in Ottawa.Another convoy protest would be a great start….A Tax-Us-Less protest….Lets flush the serpents, snakes, worms, and leeches from the swamp of Ottawa….Pierre for PM

  6. The PM should live in a modest 3-4 bedroom place, be forced to pay rent and given an $85k to 95k salary to live on.

    Reality:

The PM makes close to $300k with all benefits, pension and other contributions.

He has a security detail, and an expense account that is like a bottomless pit.

All paid for by Mr and Mrs tax payer.

  7. Let's be honest here, part of the issue is that it's a heritage property, so all the bureaucratic bs prevents bringing it up to code in a modern way. Who the heck cares if the molding isn't done by an expert in the style of 19th century design. The NCC is part and parcel of the problem.

  8. I actually don't have an issue with spending the money. The PM as head of state needs a safe and secure residence. Doesn't matter what political stripe. The fact that it has been allowed to rot is a problem. This whole debate is ridiculous. No other country has an issue housing their leader.

This is another distraction from the crap that actually affects us. With a budget this year of 500 billion, 30 million wouldn't even count as a rounding error.
