If I remember correctly Miguel is Spider-Man because in 2099 he was working for Alchemax trying to replicate Spider-Man's powers, because he's boss told him so. One of the workers messed with the machine (trying to kill Miguel) and accidently gave Miguel some "powers"… Claws, eye sensitivity to the sun, a venom that paralyze's people (that's why he was going to bit the Vulture in the beginning) and organic webs (like Tobey's Spider-Man). No Spider sense btw. He's not a vampire, the serum he took is because he's adicted to a drug because of the accident or something like that.
You had plenty of time to correct the mid section of your fan art (mom) being covered by the logo. So I think you're consciously choosing to keep it that way, which is plain weird.
Fun fact: When Gwen returns to her world and her father walks into her room, she shoots the penguin stuffed animal.
The penguin stuffed animal is a reference to Gwen from another universe who is a penguin.
This Gwen exists in the Peter Porker universe and is known as Spider-Guin
It hurt my soul to see Gwen ruin that RARE collectible

So much happens in this movie and it still leaves me wanting more, it's just that good.
One of the better sequels in any superhero films, in my opinion. I didn't mind the cliffhanger because they already made an announcement that this movie was going to end on a cliffhanger. Especially, since the creators said so themselves that the story they were trying to tell was too long to put into one film. So they decide to split it into two parts.

44:38 i think gwen made it pretty obvious that her connection with hobbie is diferent from miles, and you can see that when they interact. with miles she is always close, hugging, touching, even dropping her shoulders together(and they were upside down, meaning, she had to basically fight gravity to do that).
but with hobbie she is just joking around and talking.
when Pav asks if she told him about hobbie, i dont think he meant that they were together, but that hobbie is a male friend of her. (its mostly him playing miles because he loves the drama).
its also clear that gwen relationship with hobbie is much more of a protective older brother. and its basically how he treats miles as well.
as a final note, people have to remember, gwen crashed at hobbie's place because she was basically destitute at that point. having no place to be.

44:44 I don't think Gwen was seeing Hobie–she's got pictures of Miles in her special place at home. Gwen doesn't want to admit her true feelings for Miles because, as she told him when they were on the clock tower, their future never works out in every other universe.
I really enjoyed what Sony did here. They turned our interpretation of the Multiverse on its head, and it's fantastic! In Into the Spider-Verse, all the Spider-Man Variants Miles met were Variants of Peter Parker: Peter B. Parker, Peni Parker, Peter Porker, and Peter Parker (Noir). Peter Parker is Spider-Man in most universes, but what about Gwen and Miles? This movie definitively answered that question by pointing out that everyone in the Multiverse, their alter egos too, has a variant–Miles and Gwen are variants of Spider-Man, not Peter! Miguel too, though he's the real anomaly since he made himself a Spider-Man.
Gwen and Miles are the pair that actually beat the odds, the only pair that can. As this movie points out, Canon Events are what hold all of their universes together and Miles and Gwen share a Canon Event!
1) Spider-Man always gets his powers in his teens–not Miguel
2) Spider-Man always loses a parent figure
3) Spider-Man always loses his first love
4) Spider-Man is always betrayed by his best friend
5) Spider-Man always loses a police captain he's close to
6) Spider-Man and Mary Jane (MJ) always get married
Did you catch the name of Gwen's band? They're the Mary Janes! Gwen is Miles' Mary Jane and he's her Spider-Man! Miles lost Gwen in the first movie–she had to go home. Gwen betrayed Miles in this story. They'll most likely get together in the next story, as they are fated to be together.
Did you also notice that Miles WAS supposed to be bitten by the radioactive Spider? It's edited out of your reaction, but it's just before this scene here at 12:17. Universe 42 Miles was about to be bitten by the radioactive spider when Spot had it sent to Universe 1610. Spider-Man never chooses to be Spider-Man, it's forced on him–the spider decides who will be Spider-Man, and the spider from Universe 42 traveled all around New York looking for Miles! It might have bit the wrong variant, but it still chose Miles! Universe 1610 (Miles' home) is just the universe where two Spider-Men existed, at least for a time. Peter can't live forever and this story is setting up the idea that there must always be a Spider-Man. Untimely death or not, Miles was supposed to be Spider-Man.

I thought the first movie was perfect. They somehow made this movie even more perfect than the first one. When I first saw it in theaters I was pretty overwhelmed but after a few watches you really admire what they were able to do in this movie from culture, music, animation. This movie is about as perfect as it can be and I would be astonished if the third movie goes beyond it.
