if you're not you should use WSE for warband, it's supposed to stop crashes like this and what not. the sad part is i think you'd have to make a new game or find a way to transfer it to the wse savefiles.
i was a supporter of edward hastings, but then i saw he was a hammerer supporter, clearly this man has been corrupted by the devil during his campaigns.
