I’m exploring the Great Bend of the Gila, a proposed National Monument near Gila Bend, Arizona. I’ll ride my Husqvarna 701 motorcycle through this rugged area of the Sonoran Desert and explore scenic roads, historical locations and spend an evening motorcycle camping in the desert.

Great video Sterling. Nice to hear the thump of the 701 again!
Nice. I like the format of video followed by info. Great pics.
Another fabulous and informative episode. Very inspiring and happy to see your new content👍
So glad to have some fresh Sterling content! It's been too long, I actually came and hit your channel the other day thinking I must have accidentally unsubscribed. Cool trip through Gila Bend, thanks!! Definitely some cool spots to visit. Looks like the weather was perfect, too. Thanks Sterling!
I am like you and always drive through Hila Bend since I live in Phoenix , but camped out there and ride this past weekend. It was beautiful, even though it rained. Will go back again. Great timing on the video post.
Great video and glad to see you back putting out content again.
Excellent shots…. Hope I can make good videos like yours.
Great to have you back! Looking forward to the Oregon BDR movie when it comes out.
Epic work. Thanks
Artfully filmed and cut! Thanks for your hard work Sterling. Off subject question about your 701 LR. Sometimes after having dropped my bike it runs very poorly, cutting out intermittently for several minutes afterwards. Have you ever had this problem with yours? Hoping to find a solution to another wise perfect motorcycle 👌👍😎
Love your vids man. Keep them coming!
Great video I’ll be retracing your ride myself based on this video. Thank you for inspiring us with great local rides.
Yea Sterling.
Hey Sterling, nice to see you again. As always, excellent presentation and footage.

always great video Sterling. I just love watching your work and I am trying to learn from it. would love to come visit your place and ride the area some day. If you wouldn't mind take a look at my latest video and would love your comments. No where near the quality of yours but I'm working on it. LOL.
Good to see ya back online & meeting you and Eva at Overland Expo east this year❗️
You make videos worth watching.
😍
Love your cinematography and editing! Keep up the great work.
Really glad to see you back. More please
Lovely to see your stuff again, probably the most professional content on the tube, always tv quality. Well done Sterling
Yoooo!!! Gooood evening New subscriber here living in PHX. I also like National Monuments and Parks I like the fact that there will be a potential National Monument! I'm enjoying the ride! 😎👍👍
A very interesting video, Sterling. Thanks!! 😀
Love love love the new format. the 50% super chill and zen like ADV vid followed by the map, route, history , etc….. just perfect. I really want to come down and chase these rides. Thanks for the great content , as I’de expect nothing less from your works. Cheers. I assume you’ve been busy on other projects but appreciate you’re time to cut a few more fresh vids. 🤘
So glad to see you back! I've been wondering?? As always, you deliver the goods!
Wow, just wow. The first 1/2 of this video is probably the best 10 minutes of moto YT I’ve ever seen. The time you take to get those wonderful shots really shows in the finished product. I wish we could see your videos more often, but I think we’ll take what we can get. Thanks again.
Thanks for filming and sharing this great video! Passed through Gila Bend numerous times, thanks for showing the details from your explorations!
Love the details. 👍🏼🇺🇸
Sterling, which drone are you using? The footage looks really good and i'm quite amazed at the dynamic range.
Thank you Sterling. You've been missed. That shot of the birds was amazing. I also enjoyed this video format how the first portion was just you IN the adventure, and then following it up with info was perfect. I grew up in Phoenix and drove through Gila Bend hundreds of times but never stopped to really check it out. So thanks for that. I remember eating at the Space Age Lodge as a kid in the 70s. It's a type of Googie architecture (space age/ Atomic Age) and there was a lot of that back in the 60s. Cheers mate.
I love this channel
Wow! Who knew that Gila Bend is more than a gas stop between Phoenix and Yuma? I've pass through more times than I can count. Thanks to you, I'll linger awhile next time.
Really enjoyed the film, thank you for bringing us along!
Glad to see you posted another video. Appreciate you sharing your adventures and ability to show and tell it.
Cool video! Sterling you referred to HWY 8 as "HWY 80" a couple times. Might wanna add an edit font or something. I mean, we all know what you meant, just giving g heads up.
Really appreciate the educational aspect to this video Sterling, it elevates a 2 dimensional video into a 3 dimensional story
Great video, Sterling, and another great area to explore that you've given us a "heads up" on. Definitely going to pass this on to my brother in Scottsdale, and am putting it on my bucket list also. Kudos to you and Eva.
I appreciate your videos, Sterling. We folks with an adventurous heart, that live to far away to make regular ventures into the back country of Arizona can live vicariously through your camera.
BTW, you do alright with flying your drone, and getting your cycle out of mud at the same time. No stunt doubles or CGI……
