TRUE STORY:
25 years ago I was walking with my friend to my house. It was a hot day, midsummer, and the traffic was busy on the busiest street that ran through the entire city. We were crossing a bridge. The sidewalk was raised from the road and I was walking on the side nearest to the street, so I kept my eyes on the ground to not slip off and fall into traffic.
The cars were backed up at the red light and stopped. My friend and I were chatting as we walked. Mid-step, I had to thrust myself forward as something darted quickly under my foot. It was bright and glowing red like the cherry on a cigarette. It looked like the size and shape of a DVD/CD. I can only imagine it was fairly flat because of how low to the ground it was flying.
I'd almost fallen as I thrust forward. I looked at my friend and we both looked behind us. There it was, following the sidewalk on the bridge and continued till it was out of sight. It was easily visible in the daylight. I looked at the cars and no one seemed to notice it as they all watched for the traffic light to turn green.
This stuck with me for years, and I searched reportings and talked to experts. I've only, till now, heard of one other similar story. The well-known triangle UFO in Belgium was said to have had the red lights from the ship drop off and dart around the city, following the streets. This is all before GPS was a common thing to us. It existed but not street view or drones for the public.
I lived near Wright Patterson Air Force Base back then and had the assumption that this was either alien to us or technology we were testing. Over the years, I came to the conclusion that we weren't testing it, but I could be wrong.
Has anyone else witnessed this before?
