  2. The USA has:
    1. The biggest Military, and Military budget (900 Billion USD)
    2. The most advanced Force (technologically speaking),
    3. They got the most variety in equipment (air, land and sea),
    4. The largest and most capable navy,
    5. The biggest and most diverse global alliance with other countries (NATO and others globally),
    6. one of / the biggest arsenal of nukes,
    7. One of the biggest populations, and a great percentage of armed/combat ready citizens
    8. Crazy Canadians who would most likely also join in to help them

    9. And certainly the highest amount of crazy future experimental/top secret programs.
    10. Totally new Sectors/branches of the Military like Psychological Sector, Digital Warfare and the freaking SPACE FORCE (yes that's a real branch of their military)

I hate sounding like a fanboy, but USA could take on the 4 other countries below it, all at the same time, and still win.

Keep in mind, they warned Japan back in WW2, and ever since they dropped those 2 nukes, they've been fighting with one hand behind their back.

  3. The US might not consider the UK as a top tier military force, Question that I have is this would the US allow any country to jeopardize what ever place the US ranks the UK

  4. And yet, China's industrial power also worth to consider.
This year, they will laid down at least 5 destroyers. Yet, these 5 destroyers were build in a single port and in a single dry dock at the same time. And a few months ago, they have laid down around 3-5 war ships.

PLAN also expected to produce around 3-5 Nuclear submarine each year starting this year.

And for the airfoce, analyst says it that this year, Chinese airforce is expecting around 100 J-20 and around 140 in the next year.

And what is terrfying that this is not China's full flex of industrial power.

  5. “South Korea doesn’t have the luxury of European Countries who don’t take their own defense seriously.” Very well said! Sad that it took Ukraine for most countries to wake up.

  7. As a Brit I have to say we all agree with the state of our military and we’re not happy about it. That said though you’re slightly incorrect on what we have in the pipeline, we’ve got more F-35s on order, we’ve got a 6th Gen fighter in development and Type 32 Frigates as well as more coming more naval vessels. That said though we are still an embarrassment of what we once were!

  8. Not a good comparison. The UK or Japanese army can afford to be small, as they're island nations, while their power manifests in their long range air capabilities, and their navy.
The US might be around the same size as Russia, but has very few land borders to defend (basically only Mexico, and even that can be reduced quickly), while Russia is mostly surrounded by potential enemies.
India might be in a better position than Pakistan, as India is totally isolated save the border with Pakistan, Pakistan is open to any Indian invasions, and India is just bigger in every aspect – so they need a total militarian regime to survive.
China is also in a much worse position than the US – it has only one access to the sea, and that is already blockaded by US and allies; beside that, they're also facing potential land invasions from southeast, south, and north.
On the other hand, if the US wants to maintain a global presence, not just defend North America, then it is much more costly – providing moving airfields and missile platforms with radars and satellites globally naturally comes at a much higher price than just equipping a few million soldiers with AKs.
