You can use roaming throne with the New cascade cascade Eldrazi Commander
The best part of Shalai and Hallar is how it works with the Rosie Cotton and Scurry Elemental to just kill everyone. Either with Squirrels or through the triggered ability
Oh in the jungle, the mighty jungle the Eddie's blamed toniiiiiiight….
One has to wonder if AI has had an impact on the abundance of new printed cards. The trend seems as AI has become more available, so has the increase of new cards.
Moira and Teshar are a phyrexian team up
So Orchish Bowmaster feels more like Wheels hate. A Nekosaur players can play a 7 draw wheel, get this flashed in on them, and take up to 22 pts of damage, AND see a 22/22 orc across the table.
Black discard "triple" card,
Whenever you cause an opponent to discard a card that player pays 3 or you draw 3 cards
I believe Chimil, The Inner Sun is going to be a sleeper. Its slow for cEDH but I think it could be great in alot of mid powered decks.
Biotransference + Cybermen Squadron + Harmonic Prodigy + Maskwood Nexus. Have fun.
Yay! Another team up episode. Love it.
Shalai and Hallar is my CEDH deck
I loved this guy in the Hangover movies.
pls I want to see new close Quarters Game play🥺
Excited to put kitesail larcenist in my yarok, the desecrated deck. Get that double trigger and turn my etb creatures that already did their thing into treasures so I can sac them for mana and reanimate them for more etbs!
The roaming throne is going in my imodane deck… it's going to be awesome
Wild Wild West is not a great movie, but I love it regardless. And I’m glad you shouted it out because it’s what I thought of too!
Shalai and Hallar notable doesn´t go infinite with All will be One alone. I think Shalai and Hallar is really good gamedesign powerlevelwise. It can be built on each powerlevel, starting from lower power with some restrictions straight into cEDH. I built a sort of budget version of it for 175 Euro without any infinite and never had a problem with pup stomping, from precon to lower optimized decks.
What happened to Close Quarters?
Rowan Scion of War fans I have 1 card 2 words and you are all welcome…..Painters Servant lol (takes a bow drops mic) ahahahha
You only get the protection from ring if you cast it.
17:00 actually there was a card with two phyrexianized characters teaming up, Moira and Teshar. It was in one of the commander decks
Roaming throne is going in yuriko
For f's sake Mitch. Do you really think we need an eldrazi/phyrexian team up? Cause a team up is going to lead to a phyrexian take over of eldrazi.
Ok ya we need that….
https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/d/e/def384ff-1b6f-4c4f-8151-3c72c29b63ce.jpg?1562383502. Dont know if you like this or not. But to me this plue a top of the library card is really powerful. What are your thoughts
Would roaming throne work on an eminence ability?
Could you create a token copy of any of the gods and sac to ledgend rule keeping the flip side and the copy?
the real problem i see is always just all the people that can't help themselves with the two card combos.
Like every time i see shalai and halar it's like the deck has 15 cards in it that just end the game instantly.
It's kind of weird how people don't understand a completely unclimactic non-ending like that just kind of makes the game into a big "meh, whatever" It's like the MTG version of dungeons and dragons, it's about the social interactions and journey
It's like playing monopoly but the guy who uses the top hat token just ends the game if he ever rolls a 7
if your building a rube goldberg machine that has like 5 moving parts to get to the result that's a totally different story though, of course
From the discussion on Ripples of Potential, the next step will be a mechanic or card that moves things from "phased out" to exile as a replacement effect, instead of letting them phase in.
whenever i hear "to take a problematic player" i always think they are speaking of taking mitch out
Wild Wild West was a great movie!
Roaming Throne slaps in Magda. Not only does it double treasure output when you tap a dwarf, it also serves as a piece of the Clock Of Omens combo that's harder to remove than Universal Automaton or Metallic Mimic.
I really want to put skullspore nexus into my Henzie deck, the decks biggest problem is no blockers with my stuff dying so any way for my Blitz creatures to leave behind tokens to block is very appreciated
Any way of listening to this like a podcast? I'd like to listen while I work, as I don't usually have time to watch things in the evening. Good stuff though.
I really like these team up episodes, looking forward to more in the future
I believe Slimefoot and Squee are one of the most busted commander reanimation commanders felt like they were released ages ago but came out this year. Product fatigue is real wish Wotc would slow down release schedule.
I always grew up referring to people who play "Tap creature to do 1 damage to a source" decks as Timmy Players. Referring to Tim the sorcerer in monty python. But you refer to yourself as a Timmy player because you create big creature boards… Im confused
heh you guys made ripples of potential blow up : ) And FYI everyone, with all these guys chasing cards in the special collector boosters for middle earth, tonnes and tonnes of lotr surge foils out there : )
Why are Wizard creature type cards so bad compared to other tribal types? You would think ‘WIZARDS’ of the Coast would want to make cards with their namesake to be the powerhouses of the game. But everyone knows they’re the furthest from it. What do you guys think about it?
