How would you rate the natural lagoon overall? I'd give it only a 5/10 sadly. Cool and much-wanted idea, executed with too many limitations 🙁 But I hope the video gives you inspiration for building around the natural lagoon!
idk if it's a mod or if it helps but i think you can place viewing galleries in the docks
Why can they make all the lagoons have clear water like this!? We don’t go to an aquarium to see a dark blue void. We want to see the sea creatures!

This map infuriates so much because it has so much potential, as well having natural lagoons on other maps, yet it is so restrictive. It is H— to get this to 5* specially with the broken stores in the Malta campaign.
I am honestly making a JP and JW parks here in Sandbox while using the other two for full on Maltese parks to be in competition with both Ingen and Biosyn.

Frontier will probably do so big updates to this map in the future. Hopefully they see this massive "backlash". I love frontier and the work they do but sometimes they take one great step and then 2 steps back.
The most annoying thing about the natural lagoon is that the fish feeders Don't work instead they don't spawn fish and marine reptiles starve
My biggest frustration with this map is how enormous the lagoon is. I had a lot of reptiles stray too far and just starve to death cuz they could no longer find fish. Over all i love the look of this map and its gonna be one of my favorites to build on, i am sure
Omg, this is by far one of your best builds🤩. I LOVE the hotel in front of the dock, you really, really inspired me to build on this map, I May sound weird but i think that the challenge of having limited space make parks so much better, the best Park i build is on uk.
But yeah really awesome video I trasucir a i really love what you did here.
And i would like to tell you some ideas I have:
Build like a abandoned Versalles garden for guest or for dinos and build an olive tree field with a tour (idk how to call it in english in Spain its olivar)

The lagoon is so cool and such a great centerpiece. As someone who plays with Dino needs on, the small amount of land is brutal to build on since most Dinos have massive space needs.
And I’m callin it now, this will be the map that breaks Evo down and starts the modding lol

The build was awesome but the map is literally too small and wierd shaped, i mean you can only place dinos at the top of the hill and the second is the lagoon that's it
The left space can only be used for pathing
But keeping it aside the build was great as always you come with new ideas idk how 🔥🔥but it's good 😊
I lined up a bunch of shipping containers, flood lights, and placed some some buildings to make it a big shipping dock
I know not everyone has mods but if you can get mods get some they can help with building a park
Imagine putting a zipline across the lagoon only to have a Mosasaurus just jump out the water and grab the guest lmao I wouldn't want to zipline across a lagoon where a giant dino can jump out of the water and grab me lol

The terrain constrains absolutely ruin the lagoon for me, especially in regular gameplay when you try to drive a ranger vehichle around it but they keep getting stuck because they're disabled from driving anywhere near the edge.

The map is just baffling to me. You'd think if the terrain geometry was the issue, why didn't they just push the cliffs back a bit for some extra room? They must've known folk would want to build on the waterfront. Just such a strange design choice.

I had a similar idea to yours and was immensely disappointed with not being able to use the Zipline from the hill or plateau. One HUGE problem I noticed beyond the build limits was that even with a bunch of feeders, most of my marine animals kept starving! I wonder if anyone else is having this problem?

Natural lagoon map with expanded maps mod
I'm gonna build a spinosaurus exhibit next to the lagoon and put Spinosauruses in the lagoon, with the Trick how you can put dinos in the Aviary. I'm playing on PS4, so this trick helped me a lot.
I gotta say, its not as much the terrain thats the issue its the Malta walls. I tried building a wall instead of a fence and once you stop making 90 degree angles it stops wanting to place.

I’d love to see a Dominion Prologue inspired Site B style build using the smaller island from this newest expansion
I tried building 2 type of parks on this map, one was a pure vanilla park no mods and the other was expanded island + freebuild. Pure vanilla this map really limited my creativity especially with the themed buildings clashing against my ideas but with the Malta set I had a good time making a "smuggler's aquarium" theme park. Modded I had a great time especially with the lagoon itself, I did the iconic monorail over the lagoon first thing lmao. The experience reminded me of Southwestern USA with how limited I felt but saw the potential parks I could build with thanks to the talented modding community.
i get the idea that Frontier has some really nice ideas, but the are executed in a way that doesnt make the game more fun, sooooooo many restrictions limit the fun of this game. Mods take care of most limits, just wish Frontier would take a good look at them and implement them

One of my favourite sayings in England is ‘you can’t polish a turd 💩’ but evo you POLISHED that 👏🏻 I struggled with what to do with this park and you’ve given me a lot of inspiration

A natural lagoon is awesome, but they should have made the map bigger (especially that long narrow pathway up the hill) and lessen on the terrain constraints. 6/10
In my lagoon builds I also use the drone as an attraction!
