►Now an update on a story we’ve been covering closely here on 5 News – the extreme heat in southern Europe and northern Africa. More than 40 people have sadly died in Algeria, Italy and Greece as Mediterranean wildfires continue to rage.

Thousands of holidaymakers have also been evacuated from Greek islands including Rhodes – with more repatriation flights set to take place. Julian Druker sent us this report.
