The remix events introduced the concept of remix skins. Basically recolors of existing skins. But it seems that Remixes are here to stay and more of them will be coming soon. Blizzard has plans with these Remix skins and that might even extend into Overwatch 2. Watch now and find out more!

When Blizzard said “there are more skins coming this year than ever before!” this isn’t what I expected. The remix skins are alright I guess, but to me they just feel lazy

I think that's a great idea! I just hope they add an Omnic Crisis variant of OR-14 Orisa. We've seen it in the Honor And Glory animated short, we need to see it in game.

If I'm still able to get these remix skins through Overwatch 2 and its possible Anniversary event, then I got nothing to worry about.

I like the remix skins, but as you said, I really hope they're not part of the promise they made, I want to see ACTUAL new skins, skins we haven't seen before! Also, Boston Uprising x Scuba Sigma, I want that! :p GREAT VIDEO!
Based on the teams who have a chance at winning and have good fun colors im hoping for a houston or florida skin. Houston has the better chance so lets hope for that. No one wants an ugly ass orange grey remix reaper skin so shock can just lose.
