  1. The difference between Rodbell and Eli is Eli had surgery the next morning at one of the best doctors in the world. Also this is a big one, Eli is a millionaire with major companies and sponsors behind him on recovery which means he will have the best of the best medical at his disposal.

  2. Eli with surgery would be now walking on it by now boot assisted, rehab strengthening starts 6 to 8 weeks. If no complications its not a long term injury as in 12 month plus so if he was doing supercross in 24 he'll be fit

  3. AlwaysMoto: In the past, nobody was a fan of this sport unless they rode, or had family that rode/raced, (and that is still at least 95% of the case, as the fans at the races are at an all time low). Nobody else was interested. Go to a sports bar anywhere in the USA, and ask them to put on the MX race, and you will catch flack from most of the bar. Now I see people with Moto channels who never rode a bike, (Weegee, Rotomoto, Joeman25 and probably most with a channel today.). Do you ride, or are you one of the dreamers who push electric bikes for a dictatorship? 🙂

  4. The foundational reason why injuries are 2 and 3 times what they used to be, is because we let a dictatorship EPA force the expensive 4-stroke engine on the industry,—instead of telling the dictatorship to "get bent".

  5. Yes, all MX racers have been injured at some point in their riding/racing.
But—about 85% of the pro racers used to be able to race every race of a series, (or two in a year), and now that is down to about 5%.

  6. Concussion protocol for Chase: "If you wake up in the morning and before you look in a mirror, if you do not remember what color you had your hair dyed,—you can't race that weekend."

  7. If you are going to talk about Chase being dizzy after the Pala crash, you should show the vid of it too. But if deep fake vids take hold,—we will have nothing to believe. 🙁

  8. Back when the sport was only about 10 years old in the USA (around 1978), the sport was very popular here in the USA because any kid with some ambition could afford to buy a new bike, and usually ride right out of their back door. MX was so popular in CA., that High School Motocross teams were started, (where the name "school boy class" started I believe.), and the kids rode their own bikes. During that great era when there were HS teams, comparable injury data was easy to compile. it was published by MXA back in those great days (I remember reading it), that HS motocross had less injuries than Girls Volleyball, but no numbers were offered.

  10. I always wanted to get a news scoop before anyone else…
News is that there is a large motorcoach of factory talent scouts chasing down top 20, 80cc riders at Loreta's and 50+ class riders at Punkin Center Mx track in Hobunkvile, Tennessee…
    Something's wrong in paradise, guys.
Also, I've heard about KTM working behind the scenes to ink a 7-figure 6-year contract for Johnny Hopper to come out of retirement to race 450s in 2024 – 2030.
