  1. I agree Rolf is a very valuable fellow to have helping you get the boat ship shape. It’s clear to me he is one of those craftspeople who nothing phases them they always have another bit of knowledge to draw on . Please pass on my accolades on his knowledge ability and work ethic, clearly a wonderful fellow!

  4. You can use crepe rubber to clean up your sanding disks. Just run the sander over the crepe rubber stick, and it will remove all the clogging. Your sanding disks will last 4 times longer too. πŸ˜‰

  6. I have seen a lot of videos about fibreglass repairs, and yours is one of the best. Rolf is true professional and he explains things well.
Note that the furler parts are called extrusions. Norseman fittings are better than swages as they can be re-used, you only need to replace the inner cone. Many people put caulking inside (never silicon) but according to others (including the owner of Selden) it is not necessary and is not required. The manufacturer does not recommend putting silicon inside.

  7. I enjoy boat work videos, but man I do not envy you on this project! This is more than damaged, wrecked in my uninvited opinion. But it's impressive to watch someone take on the task, and I am excited to see you back on the water with her.
