Progress!!!!
I agree Rolf is a very valuable fellow to have helping you get the boat ship shape. Itβs clear to me he is one of those craftspeople who nothing phases them they always have another bit of knowledge to draw on . Please pass on my accolades on his knowledge ability and work ethic, clearly a wonderful fellow!
Missing Dani in her tiny bikinisπ
EXTRUSIONS.
Getting closer to splashing the boat in the water.
great progress
Should have switched to hank-on setup for the simplicity.
I have one of the small belt sander. I absolutely love it too.
Making good progress.
Keep at it.
Oh, what happened to the female? She get tired of breathing fibreglass dust?π
Oh well.
silica is good to make a putty but you 1000% should add chop straid additive if available to the putty.
Ha ha " he's had a but too muxxh epoxy " lololol. Hey what's that guys name. Im watching you guys and missed his name im sure you must have said at some time. … ? Also columbia is a goner? Shes not coming back i think. Since no word at all from her while she's back at school. Hmmm
EX-trustion
Nice job goes it's good to see all the patches on the outside getting some framework hope you both had a good holiday
Can of worms
It must be expensive to hire him. Master boat craftsman are hard to find.
De een na de ander cat breekt of zinkt en jij gaat er 1 opknappen π, zorg dat je met weinig wind vaart!
You are so lucky to have a friend with such ability in fibreglass
Well done guys shes looking like a sailing boat again cant wait to see her sailing on the deep blue
You can use crepe rubber to clean up your sanding disks. Just run the sander over the crepe rubber stick, and it will remove all the clogging. Your sanding disks will last 4 times longer too. π
I believe those alum pipes are called EXTRUTIONS—–Mikey
Quit calling it spray painting. Spray painting is when u use can spray paint. And I hope youβre not using actual spray paint lol.
Really enjoy your videos and seeing the progress. Can't wait for the finished project.ππ
Amazing work ππ
along with you, this guy has been working his bullocks off on this boat for months now, always has a positive outlook, the boat is coming along so very well, I am hoping you paint this boat a groovy color
What a great friend Rolf is, and his workmanship is simply beyond reproach.
Canβt wait to see the completed job and she is in the water.

Amazing
I have seen a lot of videos about fibreglass repairs, and yours is one of the best. Rolf is true professional and he explains things well.
Note that the furler parts are called extrusions. Norseman fittings are better than swages as they can be re-used, you only need to replace the inner cone. Many people put caulking inside (never silicon) but according to others (including the owner of Selden) it is not necessary and is not required. The manufacturer does not recommend putting silicon inside.
That new paint is going to look so pretty. Itβs exciting to see the finish getting closer.
Great work guys I have been watching your work over the last few weeks and am sure the fruits of your labour will be well worth it. Shaun.
Great work, what did you use for the 'uniform layer' to fill the scratches? at 22:00
Hi luv watching your vids,? Are you paying him to do all that work? Or is he just helping π€ please let us know. π
Thanks!
Run , really .
Only one way to fix this is tear it all down to deck and hull ! everything till you have just fiberglass …………………………………. and jel
The dangers of this is what you can't see and what you can't get too……………………….
Great work π
Every day I hope you take a moment to visualize yourself floating in a beautiful lagoon on your beautiful cat. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoy boat work videos, but man I do not envy you on this project! This is more than damaged, wrecked in my uninvited opinion. But it's impressive to watch someone take on the task, and I am excited to see you back on the water with her.
Dat ziet er strak uit heren. Mooi werk!
