Do you realise how many businesses were ruined in this fire? Why this entire segment about one restaurant? Its insulting to every other business owner.
Maybe you should highlight every other gofund pages for all the other businesses that were burnt to the ground? Or what about the gofunds for the THOUSANDS of people who lost their homes? Why just this one business?

It is all so sad for us here in SoCal. I’ve been to all of the restaurants hit by these fires, from the time I was an undergraduate (back in the day) and right on through to recent times. We all have stories from these places. Please, keep us up to date as they move along.
Going to be years or never for building most of this stuff. Not to mention landslides and flash floods that will be happening from burn scarred land. Cali exodus will occur once reality sets in.
Ppl forget a very simple concept that has always evolved humanity: options You have choices, you can work in a different restaurant, city or upskill & reskill and get new careers. We can take advantage of low housing in Spain or Italy or move to places with high incomes like Saudi Arabia. You don't need to look back and say how do you move forward? You move forward and make new choices
