  1. I remember camel spiders man those things could move! 30 mph across the pavement easy. You throw water on them and it basically paralyzes them for a couple seconds. Mainly they eat lizards and stuff.

  3. """ TARANTULA""" 1955 Movie with famous Sci Fi Star John Agar and English Actor Leo Carroll as the Scientist experimenting with nuclear iodine on plants and animals to make them grow bigger to feed earths growing population. Also Clint Eastwood made his first movie as that Sabre Jet Pilot dropping Napalm on the Giant Tarantula. Also another good one was the 1958 Sci Fi movie """EARTH VS THE SPIDER""" stars Mr Ziffel from Green Acres and the actor who played the TV show Capt Video.

  4. Its impossible for any Insect to reach the size like it once did tens of Millions of years ago because how the planets atmosphere has changed ,however Reptiles,( Alligators,Crocodilles, Lizards Komodo Dragons) Cephalopods( Squids /Octopus)and Mammals can still reach Giant size, including Fish /Sharks

  5. I would be more worried about Fire Ants and possibly Giant Pythons. There is a species of not Spiders but Scorpions that are even larger than any Tarantula but I believe they live in the Jungles of either southeast Asia like Cambodia or Vietnam or possibly the Jungles of New Guinea or that large island off the coast of Africa ,Madagascar. But because of their size they move very slow. There also very dark in color, like black greenish.

  6. Giant Alligators or Crocodiles over 30 feet long,"""POSSIBLE""", Giant Squids up to 50 feet long, """YES""' markings on Sperm Whales found and actual Dead rotting corpses of them found that big , Giant Bears larger than regular Grizzly Brown or Polar Bears, """YES""" , Giant Sharks or Great Whites over 20 feet, very """POSSIBLE""", Spiders/Tarantulas the size of a man, """IMPOSSIBLE"""unless we travel back in time to 150 Million Years BC

  7. The problem with Giant Spiders is that they have book lungs. At a certain size of a creature with book lungs would quick suffocate cause the book lungs wouldn't be able to provide enough oxygen to support the animal.

  8. These ladies are very brave, to lift rocks looking for camel spiders in the desert.. I appreciate people that work in these kind of fields to investigate and find answers to critters and creatures that most people would run from like myself.. i could NEVER do anything like this, not for all the money and power in the world!!
