Rune Factory 3 Special is pretty exciting for me I recently got into the series with 4 special. I tamed a Palm Cat just because they looked cute and the thing carried me though the game. 🍻
Ok, so regarding the brazilian game (as us brazilians are legally required to talk about anything a foreigner brings up about Brazil):
The game studio is called Dumativa and it's spelled like Doo-Ma-Tchee-Va
Nearly all of the creatures, environments and characters have inspirations that are very unique to brazilian culture as:
Creatures – one of the creatures is called "Pregaiana" and is so obvious it's an old Slipper – "Havaiana" being a famous slipper manufacturer that is like a synonymous for slipper in Brazil – that was fixed by improvising a nail – 'Prego" – to hold its cord together) and there is other who is is inspired by a supposed alien sighting that is very famous and VEEEEERY memed on – "Bilu", which is literally the name the E.T. being was given.
Environments – in Ed's video, at the time stamp of 3:19, we can see an old couple playing cards just outside a bar near a fruit stand. That sight is very common in small towns all around Brazil and I would not be surprised if the shirtless gentleman with the green cap works as a bricklayer and is tired because he worked hard from dawn to early afternoon and then went to the Football/Soccer stadium to watch his team (most likely Vasco) and his name is something like "Ednaldo".
Characters – Not only is Ednaldo very well caracterised as a simple hard-working man, but also some of the gym leaders – who we only saw the silhouettes for – are very obviosly inspired by celebrities by their posing and their hair styles/hats. Also, the brazilian voice actors for Jessie and James from the original Pokémon Anime Series actually voiced the villain team near the end of the original, video just as the message "O jogo será dublado" (meaning "The game will be dubbed") appears.
The people working on the game clearly love Pokémon and their country. I'm absolutely blasted by it! It seems very promising 😍

I know this is irrelevant but I have a theory about who the might be at the end of nexomon extinction. The most likely one is that it is the nexolord from nexomon one as we don't fight him in the nether world and we don't revive or catch him in the abyssal dlc. The other one is Elie as we don't see her ghost in nexomon extinction or any mention of her at all. The final theory is that the nexolord/metta is controlling her spirit.

I don't know if you've already covered it, but the developers of Sword of the Necromancer has a sequel being Kickstartered right now, and both games have monster catching elements as roguelike games. This sequel is a 3d game, where it's predecessor was 2d pixel sprites

I was very pleased to see Level-5 fans are eating good this year after that recent Nintendo Direct. They may not be localizing Yokai Watch 4 anytime soon but at least we've got a new Professor Layton game and a brand new IP!
That Brazilian game looks cool! I'd love to play it if it ever gets an English version!
I was hyped for bagdex but there is a polemic about their mons being traced from Pokemons and Other Fakemons. There are concepts that are literally copied from Pokemon or Other Fakemons just with different colors and other stuff added on top. Even some poses are copied and that's disappointing, to say the least.
I was really disappointed with Digicon here’s hoping this novel is succeful enough so we can get an anime or game out of it

Hey guys, just a heads up. There have been some pretty substantial accusations regarding alleged art theft against the Bagdex game. I can't personally confirm nor deny anything, but I'm going to be removing the segment for now until things have cleared up. There have also been accusations about the game being connected to NFTs in some way and until I can get more information in english, i'm going to wait and see if these accusations are responded to, discarded or verified.
It'll take some time for the video to process the segment out.

Even if Level 5 decides it's done with Yokai Watch, they left a pretty amazing surprise towards the end of this month's Nintendo Direct…Fantasy Life is finally getting a TRUE sequel that comes out on the Switch! Lots of us series fans had nearly given up on the idea of such a thing, especially when the mobile game was so cash-hungry that it got taken down just recently.
That being said, even if the studio thinks Yokai Watch is dead, it may try it's hand at monster-genre games in a different way, too, so cheer up Ed!
Personally, hearing the west will be getting games from this awesome studio once more has me feeling like a kid again in the best ways.
i hope Digimon seekers is made to a video game too
