I hate how ed says "Unnecessary dialog" In reference to the direct. Watching the first Monster Taming Direct when it premiered made me realized how necessary those intermissions where. Watching trailer after trailer after trailer one after the other was mentally fatiguing, and at a point everything just became noise. You need those dialog moments to segment the presentation and give an ebb and flow. While highlighting what is "the thing to watch for". When watching the direct on demand then yes i can see how the talking sections get in the way as people just skip. But not for when its being presented. – How the direct was last time it was so easy to tune out unless something really jarring or significant showed up.
