Fan games give us random Pokémon encounters in the grass, just as god himself intended.
The idea that things are gonna be referred to as "Palworld but / with X" after Palworld was referred to as "Pokémon with guns" amuses me greatly.
Regarding Pokemon, way i feel is Yes, Pokemon is entitled to do it but Relic Castle has been out for 10 years so why now? Pokemon could learn a lot from Fan Games and take inspirations from them, or even work with the developers to fetch Fan Games to Switch as an Official Product, Would be an easy money maker with minimal effort on TPC's part and could offer Fan Game Devs a cut of each Sale.
But instead would rather stab the Community in the back and put out anything and expect people to buy it. Spin Offs seem to be better than official titles like Pokemon Legends, Ranger and Mystery Dungeon.
All i want is Colosseum/Gale of Darkness Remakes (or a new game) or Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky Remaster (or a new game). I'd take a Ranger: Shadows of Almia Remake if they can figure out how to replace the stylus for capturing.
Putting Nintendo on the thumbnail is disingenuous, Nintendo have nothing to do with it and do not act or control the pokemon IP beyond distributing and publishing the games. IP control and Licensing is done by The Pokemon Company, which is managed by Creatures Inc.
Further attacks against fans and now subscribing to DEI (Didn't Earn It) policies. Game Freak, Creatures Inc and Nintendo have intentionally destroyed Pokemon.
This is why no one likes the Pokémon company. Cause they do some bull crap like this

Azura lane actually mobile game who can compare to honkai impact "game before genshin" so looking for it (never play all of it i just know for my friends how play). This probably not so much diffrent than what genshin do. Even if it's looks good and free to play the game probably have some pay wall aspect on it.

I've heard of something troubling. TPCI has posted a job posting for a position involving DEI ( Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). This kind of thing is usually shoehorned in AGGRESSIVELY at the expense of gameplay enjoyment, if not destroying the story entirely. DEI has led to Volition closing, on top of Rocksteady Studios's latest release that is a complete failure. I left Pokémon but honestly, I worry that this is going to do lasting damage to the games. People want the escapism, not have the real world come in.

Fan games veing banned sucks but they're usong all the assets from the maon games so it's inevitable.
The people who make pokemon fan games need to take their time, talent, and love for pokemon and channel it into their own original games. Pokemon doesn't deserve it, and they deserve to get their games recognized for more than being just 'that one bootleg pokemon version'.
I miss when the standard was that every game needed mod tools. Now companies are so out of touch that they take every thing down instantly. Screw you for being a fan of our work.

idk. people need to just make their own ip. the pokemon company and nintendo clearly hate their fans, and fans sticking around to get bullied so often is making it an abusive relationship.
I'm still very upset about the whole Relic Castle thing, but at least the individual projects weren't affected (Mine weren't, anyway, and nobody else has said anything about their's, so probably not those either). Still sucks though.
i used to collect all games, even though i only played one of each generation. I stopped collecting because of their fanhate even before the games and pokemon became stale (for me). It is always sad, but who knows…
At some point it's probably best to just let Pokemon die off because this is getting stupid. Honestly TPC and by extension Nintendo are the only entities that can be THIS hostile to their own fanbase while having such rabid defenders on anything remotely like the genre. You don't hear these kinds of downright hostile actions on any other Nintendo IP, it's just Pokemon. And before anyone thinks about trying to separate TPC and Nintendo, stop. Nintendo owns a 3rd of that and they are every bit as responsible as GF and CI.
I've played Pokemon up to Crystal version, stopped after Gen 2 because it all just blended together, as do all of the "fan" games I've seen and heard of.
Sad to hear about Relic Castle. That does make me wonder if Nintendo is going to go after other sites like Pokémon Battle Simulator.
