The more I learn about RR the more it’s obvious that the whole bloodline is effed up. That DNA is tainted. There’s no way I’d ever have kids if I belonged to that line. Hopefully the niece has more of her mom’s genetics as far as brain function.
Reading these comments makes me feel like people lack empathy. It seems you forget the woman went through a major trauma as well and therapy was not widely accepted or known about then. As badly as I feel for Bill I also feel badly for his ex. I can’t imagine what it was like being in that room with Richard Ramirez and what he did to her that we don’t know about. I hope none of you ever have to experience that either.
Richard is totally responsible for his actions, that's a given, he was a sick individual. However, his uncle and father should have gone to prison with him due to being the sick f'ed up minds that created the monster in the first place.
"Those kids practically took care of themselves" There is a formula for serial killers, many potential ingredients, not all exactly the same. Parents who are not very present is certainly one of the potential ingredients. How do children know they are loved? By what parents give time to. All these people who put money above the attention children thrive on, need to rethink their becoming parents!!!
I really appreciate what this woman is doing with her show however the two girls that are speaking for Richard Ramirez we're not even blood relatives it just seems kind of odd to me the mother is just repeating things that the her ex-husband had said to her about the brother it just seems kind of like 5 minutes of fame type of thing don't come for me

Why oh why did the family allow his 12 year old niece to visit this sick evil demon in prison? That's disgusting. He deserved no visits from anyone or support from his family. If that was my family member, he'd be dead to me for all he had done! Did the family return the stolen gifts he sent them?

Melissa never misses an opportunity to brag on her monster father. This is all about self promotion for her! I was so excited to watch this until I saw Melissa on the show. She doesn’t care about the. Ictims, she cares about bragging on her father and selling her own story.
Way to humanize a monster, FYI he brutally killed and raped people. Sorry he had a bad upbringing but that’s not an excuse for the atrocities he committed. Next time you decide to shed a tear for an animal like that put yourself in the shoes of the victims and their families that will never get to be with each other.
WHY would his family visit Ramirez in prison ANd even worse, bring along their 12 year old daughter. There is something really off about this family, something not truthful. I'm not buying it.
I feel bad for the daughter but the Mother is not being honest and she was obviously married to a heinous man as well.
I was a teenager and lived in East LA during that time and remember how terrified we were. It was such a hot summer and it was unbearable having to have the windows closed at all times. We actually put wooden bars on the windows to make sure that they weren’t able to open them. I also slept with a knife under my pillow. Richard Ramirez was caught blocks away from my house.
The uncle also took young Richard window peeping.

Wow. I’m so impressed with the actions and bravery of these women. To come forward to meet the victims and speak of the atrocities this depraved man did. It was not their fault and it was not their deplorable actions to be accountable for , but they stand in the line of fire anyway to console Bill. To hear what he did to her as a little girl made my blood boil. I’m glad he’s gone. I hope they can replace the misguided guilt they feel with peace ✌️ 🙏💝
Seems harsh to say, but I believe it is so true. Let yesterday go and press forward. I have healed in this way too. Jesus gave us all free will, sometimes that hinders others, but this secret is freedom and knowing He Jesus never leaves our side. Bill found the best outcome in a horrific tragedy.
I’m originally from Southern California and I remember when this was going on. I was pregnant with my oldest daughter Amber and I was so scared even though I was in Riverside County at the time. And later on in 1994 I moved to Mission Viejo after my ex-husband and I split up and I was living in that same neighborhood where Bill was shot. One of the neighbors Cathie had told me it was our neighborhood 😳 and there was another crazy story in that neighborhood, Somebody had killed somebody and buried the head in the backyard of one of the neighbors house, crazy crazy stuff. I actually lived on two different streets in that neighborhood via Guadix and Via Ronda
