  1. Well that's a whole 10 months and 3 days earlier than I expected!
The game looks so amazing! The environments are gorgeous, the monsters are super detailed with great designs… It's going to be a loooong wait…

  2. So just to temper excitement a little bit (I am also very excited for the game and immediately preordered two copies).

There are very legitimate concerns about performance at this point looking at the minimum and required PC specs. With the recommended i5-12400/Ryzen 5 5500 and RTX 4060/RX 6700XT they expect you to get 60fps on medium graphics settings *with frame generation enabled*. This is not good news.

  3. "no flagship reveal at TGS cause it doesn't make sense "
    Guess who was wrong 😂
Getting "no gameplay reveal at summer state of play because MH wants to go global" flashbacks

  4. The fog seems like it's going to make visibility an issue when that happens. I hope these events aren't every other hunt, so when they do happen, they feel more special and don't become an annoyance.

I’m not looking to be a stickler for realism in a series that brought us 1000-degree knife T-Rex and the Jetpack Dragon, but Arkveld flying might be one of the least believable things I’ve seen in Monster Hunter. It has wing-shaped limbs but no membrane connecting them, it’s fur filling the empty space. This would be a crazy detail to hand waive so my money is on Arkveld’s purple energy being related to electromagnetism or something. It would also fit the title White Wraith if it’s floating like a ghost. If true I hope it’s a new status on weapons as well and not just Dragon element.

  6. I also got that 3Ultimate vibe from the trailer. My first thought was "is that MOGA Woods?". I had a "Duuude, Pride Rock!" moment. Even the forest felt like the flooded forest not just because of the rain but just that atmosphere, it's very distinct

  7. 21:26– Super Durability. Monsters by definition are unnatural creatures, and despite the MH developers trying to make some of them seem more natural at first glance, they remain monsters. Just like our tiny "human" can repel the multi-ton creatures with weapons that weigh as much as 10 men.

  8. Yes, the Scarlet Forest does indeed have a similar color palette as the Primal Forest from MH4U. Whereas if you're thinking of the Flooded Forest from MH3U, remember that we already had it remade for Rise.
