  1. As a GS main, I don't like how they dumbed it down. GS was always about positioning and commitment. Now that's out of the window, since one can 360 degree readjust anytime, which ultimately makes getting big hits like TCS less rewarding. I also don't like the Offset move. It leads to ppl mindlessly spamming it in order to get the topple animation, since it results in big dmg. Also, what happened to the feel of hit impact?! How do you guys feel as GS mains?

  2. do really hope they Change the SAED for CHB, because frankly i love SAED and if im forced to use axe mode for optimal damage instead of being able to pick axe or SAED or even mix and match between the both, i might not play the game anymore, because sadly the CHB was the ONLY weapon I've ever enjoyed using, so i will be very sad. Like how does it make any sense for the over phials not to be doubling the damage of the SAED, like how does that make any sense you have to charge it up twice, it's not like you're gaining over phials with one combo you have to get phials twice, but hopefully the feedback they get regarding the CHB will have them revisit it.

  3. Yeah, meta doesn't matter… Until they make hunts that are DPS checks. Those only really happen when the skeleton crew loses the plot, while the real talent is working on the earlier stages of the next game or an expansion.
    Lance at the bottom, yep the Wilds changes meant nothing. You went to a mechanic and all they did was paint your car. Yes, it is the best weapon ot learn hit boxes, that will never change.
    SA second from the bottom? How the fuck?
    HBG without gunner skills and gun mods doesn't shock me that much.
    Yeah, Wilds LBG was not that fun. Was never much of a fan of it but this just felt boring.
    DB felt weird in this beta, Gut reaction is shock that it's this low but without element that makes perfect sense. Honestly, without element, I'm suprised it's this high.
    HH this high is amazing, I imagine it's because of abusing the bubbles and the fact that the horn has attack up.
    Yeah IG isn't as hated as lance, assuming it's grounded and that is kind of forced on us in this game. A pity that such a jump in ranking only game from it losing part of its soul. Controls on IG, with the claw nonsense and charging the kinsect being even worse than the claw somehow, this take on IG is atrocious. I'm fine with a chraged attack and a move that costs all the extracts, that can give them back, but in practice that was very bad. IG is the weapon that demands wounds the most, the list of weapons that actuall need wounds is rather small, some benefit form them but it's not necessary in any way. HH can get a song or 2 faster but that's it, and CB gets power axe but all you have to do for that is perfect guard and press light attack once in a while. The rest are basically just damage from the focus strike. Ground game being buffed is one thing, forcing that on you is another.
    Love to see hammer doing well. It and SA were the most improved, in terms of fun factor for me, in Wilds.
    It's not GS's core though, it allows you to bail out of charges so easily and maintain them that the risk/reward is dead. Other weapons have longer combos that have more commitment now.
    Only reason GL is so high is because of the raw scaling and that's a bad thing. It's only better cause it lost its niche and became more of a CB clone. Even so, even if they are bastardizing it, I think it was Sunbreak where GL did really well in the demo and then it got nerfed, that may happen again.

    Of course a top tier weapon that no longer has to deal with 2 of its pesky core mechanics anymore is the top. Or is it 3? You don't have to manage stamina anymore, you don't have to manage ammo anymore, and you don't even have to fucking aim anymore. All from just spamming this 1 dodge move over and over from range so you have even more time to react/a better view of what the monster is doing.

  4. My opinion on chargeblade is conflicted. One one hand it's nice that it's dealing good damage.. but I don't enjoy savage axe and it's pretty much the weapons entire identity now, and I don't see any skills helping sword + SAED gameplay I enjoyed in WorldRise to make up for the difference in damage numbers against the pizzacutter.

  5. What's wrong with you guys? These are video games! You have to take off your weapons and armor, you can't use the items or environment, you have to stand your ground and punch the monster to death or you're not good.

  6. Ranking weapons? OMG!! The best weapon is the hunter…..Period! If you need to be told what is the best weapon. This game not for you because your not even committed to learn. 🤗. If you want to speed run post your world times in arena. I have never had fun when some spazz joins going crazy trying to speed run. 😂😂😂
