I really hope that hammer launch thing changes. I don’t know why but they keep hitting the little stuff in this generation. Like the IG being in the air, walking inside of monsters, and now this launching thing. One of my buddies who’s a veteran hammer main doesn’t even want to play the game now. So are group is just gonna be one short now 😢

I thought I would main SA again after Rise. I tried it out in the beta and enjoyed it but something was missing. I usually try out a new weapon every game so it truly feels like a new game experience. Maybe thats just what I need to do for my first play through at least. Maybe wait for an expansion and switch to SA as a main again. Im really loving the SS and HH so I need to try those 2 out. Im really curious how this new skill acquisition will work. It seems they are trying to get hunters to diversify their loadouts and builds even more. Kinda forcing you to build weapon trees fully so you have every version of said weapon which does get the grinder in me excited haha

The bow changes are great. I think being able to slowly target wounds instead of instantly gives you more options. Now you can save wounds to pop for your teammates if you want.
I just want to launch my unknowing friends?! Is that too much to ask???

I love the sword and shield, but I always use the skin where you don’t have a shield so I’m just punching monsters with a dagger in my other hand
Highest damage output =/= best weapon.
Hi, lance main here, tes that's me, all 3 lance main (me and my alts), celebrating the changes like I just win the lottery. A bit disapointed they didn't mention a damage upgrade but the feeling of contant, uniterrupeted agresion seems to be there.
My three main weapons have SnS, IG, and Swaxe. All three are getting buffed. I was literally jumping around my room cheering as I watched the stream.
As one of the 2 hunting horn mains, I'm sad that they are nerfing my backup horn. I was looking forward to my debut using a one-man-band contraption to beat monsters instead of the usual solo performance with only a single bludgeoning instrument lol.
