  1. I love that they are ramping up realism with the monsters interacting with one another on a bigger scale! I hope to see monsters camouflaging from predators, territorial disputes while on expeditions, monsters stalking you and sniffing you out because they are curious! Food chain mechanic, and monsters trying to intimidate the hunters and other creatures! I love the dynamic weather also! And I hope we get explore every single segment of each map and revisit old maps from world and iceborne and discover never before seen creatures, and a vast ocean map and a underground "hollow Earth" type map!

  2. I want dalmadur back think about it this game would be big enough for him to return I love how he looks and it would be cool to see him in the background slithering then u can pull up on him and fight him out right or do a quest I just want dalmadur back as a fight lmao I’ll take any excuse for him to come back

  3. What about a new anjanath form, like desertic anjanath, due to this anjanath being exposed to the new environment his wings are bigger and capable of absorbing lightning while he breaths fire, chaotic anjanath?

  4. theres some things you got wrong, the "birds" are not birds, they are small bipedal creatures. like the shakalaka.
if you look more closely you can see the large ears and the fact that what looks like wings are infact just part of a fur pattern, they also have no beaks either. so its not a bird, itf a cute fluff friend.

  5. Iam pretty sure those pangolins spikes will be a very useful material to craft weapon that can attract lightning givin the sword an electric affinity and when you with it there chances you paralyze the monster

  6. Goss Harag is easily one of the best monsters added in Rise, and a fan favorite. To see this desert fluffy-boi that resembles Goss so much is awesome to see. The way it looks, it appears as tho these guys will show up in groups. Goin on a monster hunt, and instead of hunting 1 big bad, maybe you gotta take out the whole crew. Imagine a hunt where you gotta fight 3 or 4 big fluffs at one time. Hooooly shit my Kinsect is violently shaking with anticipation.
There just might be a new classification of monsters. Not small, large but not alone. Maybe even a medium classification, where those medium monsters can group up and hunt as a pack. Pack monsters. It would make perfect sense too. New world, new monsters, new classifications. Fuuuck this wait is gunna be 38 fuckin years.

  7. I would love to see a shift toward significantly larger monsters that can absokutely flatten you. Additionally with africa on the table we can hope to see more elephants too. Im still angry that gammoth got shafted in 5th gen so this may be her time, and a different elephant to fill put the category would be great. If the awful hairy things are representative of lions we may be dealing with another (properly implemented) pack/pride leader monster. Lionesses do the chasing and herding, often making kills on their own but also herding prey towards the more powerful males. So we may be getting a proper non-elder lion too. Again, the addition of what my friends and I have dubbed the Palizard suggests the ability to fight larger and or faster monsters

  8. i hope elder dragons that can control the weather actually change the weather. Running into a Velkhana who summons a blizzard cutting down visability stuff like that would be cool. Kushala Daora summoning high winds that slow you down or maybe knock you over and you need to find cover would be so cool man.

  9. I don't think that it will be themed the same way rise/sunbreak was. To me, world didn't feel like it had a sort of theme it was working for aside from "what kind of monsters would appear in this ecosystem." Rise kind of shifted to its own design philosophy, heavily drawing from japanese folklore for base rise, and european folkore for sunbreak. So I think, if anything, new monsters will be less fairy-tale esque, and more animap-like. If we look at world, a bunch of monsters followed a sort of 75%, 25% fantasy, kind of design. A snak squirrel, but it has lightning. A t-rex, but it has a flamethrower instead of sinuses. A chameleon mixed with a bird, but it also spits poison. So I think the lion-bear observation could be very accurate, although they don't look like lions to me.

  10. During the freeze frame of the bear-like monsters it kinda looks like they have fangs, almost like Barioth but different color. That said when he shows the lunge animation you dont see any fangs but tbh at this point, I wouldn't be suprised if it does have fangs, and I would not be against that either, it would be kinda different if they did and neat to have a saber-toothed bear lol

  11. honestly wouldn't be surprised that packs of monsters being a new mechanic for this game with lower tier monsters staying in bigger packs like the desert goss harag thing having a pack of 7. I also wouldn't be surprised that turf wars would become a bigger thing in this game like they wanted in world with monsters very organically attacking each other. imagine a pack of these things trying to take down a paired up rathian and rathalos.

  12. I love the new mount. It looks really cool. Perhaps those spires and the male pangolin could be used as some sort of natural trap or something, a little like in World and Icebourne. Also, this environment would be great for Jhen Mohran or Dah'ren Mohran, even Ahtal-Ka.
