  1. It's important to note that Frame Generation includes input latency in low base fps. This is why it is recommended only on 60+ base fps to go to 120+ fps for high refresh rate monitors. Input lag in MH would be a disaster, so wait&see

  2. I have a 14900k 4070ti and 32gb of ram and was able to get 100ish FPS everywhere at 1440p with frame gen on in Dragons Dogma 2. So I would hope for at the least the same performance. Time will tell though. Maybe I need to snag a 4080 super.

  3. i hoped when they announced the seikret as the new mount that you d be able to forge armor for it like the canyne but i dont think it would work since the seikret is meant more to store stuff plus the second weapon and to explore areas faster rather than actual combat like the canyne. still hope that we ll be able to customize it kind of like the canyne but without actually using monster parts

  4. Release is way closer than anyone thought, and by this point it seems they've barely shown any monsters. I am afraid this will have even a smaller roster than MHWorld at this point. Also as a sidenote if they made that waves monster and Lagiacrus ends up not being in the game again, well, prepare for rage.

  5. Arkveld glow kind of reminds me of Alatreon glow. Maybe Arkveld is another monster that can control all kinds of elements? Hmm. I mean when i think about it the game has some pretty crazy enivorimental dynamics what if Arkveld can use the weather to its advantage? interesting.. I mean they did show it face off Ray Dau a lightning monster. Could this be an indication?

  6. the absence of rathalos in trailers might indicate that legiacrus isn't out of the question yet and we could potentially see him in a future trailer with rathalos. makes sense to me to show the returning monsters after introducing the debuting ones.

  7. That requirement is really bad… 60fps depending on a technology that, according to AMD page about it: "it is highly recommended to be always running at a minimum of ~60 FPS BEFORE frame generation is applied for an optimal high-quality gaming experience and mitigate any latency introduced by the technology" is the worst thing that could have happened to this game by far..

not very optimistic about the future of gaming pc.. T-T

  8. Worth mentioning that there's frame gen in FSR too. They didn't actually say what tech they're using and they could support both. You're saying it's a 40-series exclusive but it isn't (and actually the FSR version works on nvidia cards too, even ones that don't support DLSS frame gen).

  11. I'm a huge MH and I'm all excited for it since it was announce but seeing the price and spec recommondation…. like erm. Expensive and poorly optimised and its not even visually stunning for me. Like if you compare it with games like horizon the visual upgrade between zero dawn and forbidden west was insane! With MH i can't even compare worlds and wilds because there is little visual upgrade
