Interesting idea combo, but it needs some sound redesign. Those higher pitch wind sounds are bad. Needs anims for the npcs when resource gathering(and other moments), and they are basically robots atm. The enemies shouldn't be made easier, part of what mh fun is the difficulty and accomplishment of hunting enemies. The teathering needs to be unlocked, too.
Great thumbnail – actually beautiful, i had to click!!
Another MH clone to get completely eclipsed by MH release. They never learn, do they?
This game looks great, I want to see the finished product for sure
Just a reminder the game is in beta the devs released it so we can provide feedback provide feedback and don’t be toxic it’s still and development point out certain bugs and glitch’s complaining about stuff being broken and not pointing out what it is won’t get it fixed
it really shows when you don't like a game but you try to keep pushing through it to give it a chance anyway
If this is improved upon then I can see it becoming a very fun multiplayer experience
this game is rly bad
what's up with the music sounding like motorcycles passing me on the freeway?. ugh!
Monster hunter at home 😂
Why monster hunter is king is because it started with the core combat mechanics and game loop.
Its been of 20 years of them refining that and adding new things in slowly.
Similar to dauntless it seems this game threw a lot of ideas out there without spending much time refining any of them.
They need to figure out what the most important part of the game is to them and really spend time on those mechanics.
Right now it looks like a bunch of ideas thrown into the unreal physics engine. That's not really what you want if you are trying to combine two very complex and refined genres. IMO
unpopular opinion but that's what a monster hunter game needs, building up an outpost from scratch with monster materials but you can see and feel the advantage of the upgrades. it would even tie into the story, heck, it would have made sense in mh world
6:42 Magic assisted floating island
Very cool game but i can see you need friends to play it else solo is ruff
Looks better than the demo we got to play a few months ago on steam, but still mega scuffed. It won't be ready by the time we get Wilds so probably a hard pass for most people
When the good looks good but sits at most negative 💀
Is your resolution messed up or is that on the game side i cant get through 5 minutes due to the visual fuzz in my eyes
this is an indy game isn't it? It has that "I made this with store assets and do not intend to ever improve the look" look.
It looks terrible. I think dauntless looks more polished. Also, it reminds me of Ark and that gun pokemon game somehow.
None of it makes me think monster hunter.
tsundere tribe?!
