Monopoly the Ride Review, Hasbro City Wiegand Wie-Flyer | Roller Coaster Themed to a Board Game

Monopoly the Ride is a Wiegand Wie-Flyer at Hasbro City. This is a suspended powered coaster swinging high above the midway, and at one point it heads outdoors above the road. This ride originally opened as Dax the Ride when this park was known as Imagic Park before it was rethemed to the iconic board game. But does this theme make sense for a coaster? Find out in this review!

  1. Considering that a Monopoly themed coaster exists, I would love to see a Monopoly themed to parks or coasters. Picture this: Monopoly: Cedar Fair edition, with Michigan Adventure as one of the brown properties and Cedar Point as a dark blue one, little metal coaster cars as pieces, and having to pay for a Fastlane instead of a speeding fine…

  2. Ride’s plot (I found it on the website): The favorite board game of all families in the world is immersively integrated into this exciting aerial experience that travels throughout Hasbro City and where you will become a peculiar token to help Mr. Monopoly advance as many squares as you can.
