Thea!
What a beautiful deck, can't wait to try it out! I miss using Nyx Lotus with the old Thassa + "steal any permanent" card combo
That first game was insane, great video and commentary as always! <3
This is the first time I've ever seen you concede a game.
Mono U devotion was so fun back in standard.
I played against a player called Legend last week with this deck, so I have been waiting for it to appear to see if it was really you. Seems it was! Unfortunately for me all of my creatures ended up in witness protection. But together we enjoyed the combo going off.
Would four mana Jace from War of the Spark be good? Three Devotion and a way to win by drawing the whole library.
As I've said before, your THB mono-U devotion deck is one of my all-time favorites of yours. I love seeing an updated version.
Loved this deck when it was in standard(without as many tools) Using Arcanist's Owl to improve devotion
Never in my life have I seen LVD concede
I remember the old deck with lotuses, but now it looks much stronger
Great deck for YT video, terrible deck for actually getting wins!
I’m impressed, a second combo deck that’s actually okay in the Arena client. Thanks!
I love that you make some decks for the play queue too. Not everything has to be super competitive
I remember when you made this deck in standard! Did Kiora get cut for not having enough synergy?
Would cavalier of Gales fit in thus deck?
Huh, I thought that Oracle was banned in pioneer. I guess the inverter took the bullet
Personally i would run kiora since it includes blue to untap both nyx items instead of corridor monitor
During game 2 you could have drawn the leyline of anticipation off of the omen of the sea, which would allow you to cast thassa's oracle in your upkeep in case your oppenent fully milled your deck
I'm trying to figure out what happened here as I always like to imagine how the games would play out irl. So the wizard starts casting, then casting, then more. At some point the wizard becomes unable to quit casting spells. The power flows out of their leyline and surges toward the wizard. The currents become so strong that the wizard transcends into a being made of pure everything. They're able to converge their reality unto the entire realm, creating a utopian reality since everything is of one purpose and intent now. (Something like that?)
The bloody shame of this deck is that Oracle doesnt have an animation for a victory. Master of the Bridge has its claw when you minus the planeswalker but the lack of an animation department here is a little off putting lol
Everybody gangsta until LVD says "I have an embarrassment of riches"
Thank you for showing the loss and how this struggles. It looks fun; like how solitaire is fun. I like how Tainted Pact feels a little more interactive for being a combo deck. Yet is equally as brutal.
LVD, "This hand has zero out of four combo pieces, but hey, its got spells and mana, so I'll try it."
Legitimate businesscrab
I may have just realized that Nykthos isn't always green on the battlefield. I had thought that was weird.
I love how that elf player in the last game impatiently your go's you as you take your time comboing. People are so salty, this is a cool deck to watch go off.
That second match was a lovely display of teamwork.
How kind of the enemy to help you carry out your gameplan.
Ah yes a casual 12 mana on turn 5
Even your fun decks are so well thought through Luca, you're the best man!!!!
The way you said, "….no" at 17:44 killed me LMAO xD
