  1. Great to see other people experimenting with Zombies.

I've actually tested a zombie deck for a while. While I like your list and the idea of including the Familiar, the strongest cards in a zombie deck are certainly the combination of Nested Shambler, Nameless Inversion and Ghoulcaller's Chant and I would highly recommend not playing less than 4 of any of these in the main deck. The main reason for Inversion is not only to have recurable removal, but to kill your own Nested Shamblers on turn 2 or whenever the opponent is tapped out to create 4 Squirrels and then Chanting both of them back and repeat. It's funny how many decks really struggle against an onslaught of Squirrels so early in the game. It's basically a repeatable Kuldotha Rebirth.

Ghoulraiser is actually a possible candidate for a cut, as you can easily end up with more recursion than you can use with 4 Chants already in the deck. It also lowers your curve and allows you to go down to 17 lands. The Shepherd also doesn't need to be in the main deck.

For the sideboard I would recommend Rotten Reunion over Nihil Spellbomb as there are a lot of good ways to use the tokens. As much as I would love Gangrenous Zombies to be good I do think that Arms of Hadar outperforms it by a lot, as it doesn't kill you own stuff and doesn't have summoning sickness, giving your opponent an entire turncycle to either not commit any more creatures to the board or simply kill it, before you get to untap with it. Being recurable is nice, but doesn't outweigh the downsides. This also saves you the budget of having to play snow lands, especially in paper.
