  1. We've had so many parcels left outside in the rain and ruined by Hermes/Evri. We live on a really secluded street but it's a miracle that some passer by haven't just help themselves. They don't even bother to try and hide them or put them somewhere safer. It's got to the point that if a retailer uses Evri as a delivery company we just don't bother ordering from them, it really isn't worth the hassle anymore.

  2. You are wrong about Hermies, the issue is that Brexit destroyed their core business, cheap international shipping, that is because of brexit. It is no longer possible to ship cheap or easily, in fact it's next to impossible

  3. I had a delivery due, I was in the garden and suddenly a box came over the 6 ft fence bouncing off my car, my delivery!! I shot out the gate and shouted after him about this, and was promptly told by this foreign gentleman to f**k off, probably the first useful english he learnt !! I reported it to hermes, NO REPLY. NO INTEREST, bunch of idiots, now if delivery is by evri I just cancel the order.

  4. I will be sad to see the back of this Mondeo, I really can’t explain why, but it has found it’s way in to my heart, I have thoroughly enjoyed the series on it, and I’m not even a Ford enthusiast😊.

  5. I need to do the same job on my R8 Tourer. The headlining foam backing has turned into orange granules and the cloth sags from the rear of the sunroof to the tailgate. UGH!. Thankfully it isn't a saloon so removing the "biscuit" should be easy, once I've figured out where the plastic trim screws and other fixings are. Nice to see you do it. Gives me hope that my meagre talents will win through. Cheers for another enjoyable episode.

  6. Hermes switching to Evri has been brilliant. Somehow their already bad service went backwards and actually got worse. I wrote to Evri to clearly let them know that the moment they cease trading, the world will be a better place.

  7. Thats EXACTLY like my dad's old car! 98 reg 1.8 hatch in "juice green" only is was an LX "Verona" edition which had split-rim multispoke alloys as well.
Terrible electrics on that car, and the bumpers seemed to be made of glass – they would crack if you so much as coughed on them. But it was a super comfy car, you could just while away the miles in peace, quiet and comfort. They were EVERYWHERE on UK roads not that long ago but now I'm struggling to remember when I last saw one! Ford have even stopped making the Mondeo entirely now so preserving the older ones is now preserving motoring history! Well done for saving this one, it could so easily have ended up going for scrap and that would have been a real shame given how rare they are now.

  8. Evri are quite simply appalling. In the last month or so I have had no 2 parcels significantly delayed. A Christmas present took over a month to arrive and missed Christmas completely, that was a present for my grand daughter.
A running watch I purchased early December arrived 8 days late, no apology, no explanation, just poor service, hopeless really hopeless.

  9. I like the look of this Mondeo, especially the front. These used to be police cars in Finland. Despite being quite popular, there's only like 2 for them sale here in awful condition.

  10. I`ve often wondered if there could be a simple solution to saggy headliners(esp as a Saab 900 owner). Why cant a system be used where a suitable adhesive is injected(with the headliner in situ) via a fine syringe into the headliner in the areas that are sagging, then use a steam iron on a very low heat to help cure the adhesive and get any creases and sags out of the headliner? The job could be done by one person and take a half hour with minimal fuss and cost.Could that be a goer?Love the content Matt.

  11. If your evri delivery is like mine I would search for your hub caps on eBay as my DVD player for my car turned up there the delivery driver (for evri) lives 4.8 mile from me and when I went to collect he denied it when the company I bought it off was on the box and where he’d permanentl markered over my address label after I beat the shit out of him I phoned an ambulance and the police (he didn’t press charges) for those of you wondering “I wonder why 😒 hope you find yours👍
