I started my #JAMuary journey back in 2022 #jamuary2022 in the midst of Covid – and it really was the start of my YouTube Musical journey as well. I sometimes rediscover some of my early videos and am able to find the positive parts amongst the un-rehearsed not-so-expert parts – and that is actually the whole point of Jamuary – to get into the habit of completing tracks, beats, songs, any musical creations to avoid perfectionism and get comfortable with the process of creation without getting hung up in trying to make everything we create a perfect finished product. “Finished” is the moveable bar here – and it feels good to get something out in the wild rather than sitting on loads of unfinished work that nobody will otherwise ever see or hear.
This video was one of those I rediscovered – and thought I would re-share a portion to see what newer reactions might be and in the hope that it also inspires you to create and share!
