Hey cap, really enjoy your videos as always ! I think that if you do a rematch at some point there might be some things to update for a more accurate one : First get the newer version of the exocet with more range, second the price of the rafale is not as much as the prices you arre using (I know it's always really hard to have an estimate, especially as some big sales of dozens airframes also include training, maintenance, missile etc…)
Secondly it seems like the radars on the french vessels need some tweaking (Russians ships were able to detect lrasm which are supposed to be stealthier and not sure russians ships are better then the french ones)
Lastly it seems like the antishipper were flying with airbrakes in, really slow while I would expect them to almost go full in.
With all of that I would expect to have a much tighter match up and super intresting
Also an idea for future videos : the spectra system on the rafale is supposed to be really good, how could it be modeled in game and what would be the matchup of really good electonic warfare vs stealth ?

Nice to see the Norwegian NSM Naval Strike Missile, even upside down! I believe NSM are supposed to maneuver when approaching targets to dodge CIWS and other short range weapons, and they will of course not all go for the same target. I hope the NSM soon will evolve into a more realistic one in game, and that its sister the JSM Joint Strike Missile soon will be a part of the F-35s weaponry as it will in real life. Keep up the good work Reapers, I hope it will be possible for you to stay here on Youtube as well. Greetings from Norway, home of the NSM, JSM and NASAMS. 🙂

Hm, isn't Meteor integration in the F-35 supposed to be done by around 2027? I expected them to be using AMRAAMs in this scenario.
Realistic fight … No Horizon class AA warship with Aster 30, Old version of the Exocet, No cruise missile, modeling F35 stealth but not the spectra electronic warfare suit of the rafale, no MAMBA anti air missile batteries in Cotentin … yeah very realistic for a brit…
A thought on deconfliction & realism.
Imagine two sides with identical frigates, each with 8 x AShM and 32 AMM, set up to fire 2 missiles at each inbound threat.
1 v 1, 16 AAMs shoot down 8 AShMs. Each frigate has half their AAM magazine left.
2 v 2, with no deconfliction, each frigate fires 2 missiles at each AShM, 4 AAMs per AShM, so 64 AAMs shoot down 16 AShMs. Each frigate is out of AAMs.
3 v 3, of course, 2+2+2 = 6 AAMs at each of the AShMs, a total of 24 AShMs, which would require 144 AAMs, but they only have 92 AAMs, so the AShMs get through.
I.e. in any big battle, there would need to be effective deconfliction in order to avoid the ships getting run out of missiles very easilly.
No idea how you could solve that…
And no idea what real world deconfliction models are in use, by different platforms.
