Wow neat
The best auto impact lab in the world is in Chelsea proving grounds.. Chelsea Michigan
Originally aired in 1992..
UL back in the day looked like a wild ride
Very good job fellows!!! Oh this is golden!
I could reuse those condoms and produce 5 gallons.
lots of knowledge…. and some of it is NSFW! 😳
and what don't they test….. guess we will never know… 😎😳
looks like some. of the people Interviewed have been around as long as the cu, Cr and ul
I need to get back to my cable television ASAP
But still the car gets recalled, after production what's up with that.
Why didn't they do the air Max bus could have saved a lot of lives oh wait the FAA said nope
I was one of the Crash test Dummies for a event we had back in the 90's when ud see those 2 talking crash test dummies, got to get into some stuff for free which costs patrons at the event.
In short, buy a Volvo
Tell me this is a man's show without saying it's a man's show "CRASH!!"
I remember watching this as a kid and wanting to work for UL burning stuff 🤣. That never happened but if they ever offered tours I would gladly go 😎.
Volvo has always been the best and safest car in the world.
Splendid 👍👍
Certain folks love to ban truth infommation
Ahhh… NOW I understand how Biden got like he is! Of course, he was a crash test dummy! 🤣
he said floppy disk lmao
I remember being a crash test dummy…aka being a highschool kid in the 90s🤣
DOE is extremely important. Expensive, but needed.

😎✌🖖👌👍🤓
Too bad they didn't test if skyscrapers could withstand the impact of a jet liner, seeing as this episode is from the late 90's
14:00
The song that plays…
The background beat Is sooo similar to the hive song from donkey Kong country 2
crash test dummies aren't dummies…. they're smart… they give us so much information on crash tests.
I THINK THIS EPISODE IS INSTERESTING AND FASCINATING . . . ( BUT ) . . . WHEN THEY SAY THE CRASH TESTS ARE AT 30 TO 40 MILES AN HOUR (( IS WAY WAY )) TO (( SLOW )) FOR SOME CRASH TESTING . WITH (( IMPATIENT AND MORONS AND IDIOTS )) ON THE ROADS THEY SERIOUSLY SHOULD HAVE SOME OF THE SAME CRASH TESTS DONE AT (( 60 TO 80+ )) MILES AN HOUR . TO COMPARE THE CRASHES FROM (( 30 MILES AN HOUR TO 80+ MILES AN HOUR )) TO (( COMPARE THE DIFFERENCES )) IN THE SPEEDS OF THE SAME CRASHES . I TRULY HAVE (( SEEN ))(( MY SHARE )) OF (( IMPATIENT/MORON/IDIOT DRIVER )) OVER MY (( 2 DECADES )) OF (( BIG TRUCK DRIVING )) OF (( IMPATIENT/MORON/IDIOT DRIVERS ))(( TAKING ))(( HUGE RISKS ))(( TO TRY AND SAVE ))(( A SECOND )) . . . (( A SECOND ))(( OFF THEIR TIME )) . . . (( AND ) . . . (( IMPATIENT/MORON/IDIOT ))(( DRIVERS )) (( WHO THINK ))(( THEY HAVE TO BE FIRST ))(( NO MATTER WHAT )) . THAT TRULY IS WHEN MOST ACCIDENTS HAPPEN (( IMPATIENT/MORON/IDIOT DRIVERS )) . I SERIOUSLY TRULY EXTREMELY TREMENDOUSLY EXTREMELY TRULY SERIOUSLY (( TRULY HAVE TO HAVE (( EYES LIKE A RADAR ))(( TO LOOK OUT FOR ))(( IMPATIENT/MORON/IDIOT DRIVERS ))(( EVERY DAY OR EVERY NIGHT )) I AM DRIVING (( THE BIG TRUCK )) AS WELL AS MY (( PERSONAL TRUCK )) .
I called my cable provider and asked:
“If I give you back all of the sports and Spanish channels, could I please have the History2 channel?”
Time Warner/Spectrum, said no.
at 4:44 does the dummy have a cigarette in its hand lmfao 🤣🤣🤣
Ah floppy disks
42:55 The narrator gives a hint to how old this show is. I'd love to see a new version of this, showing how much computer simulation and other tech has changed testing processes. Although, I'm not sure if it would fit into the "because aliens" format of The History Channel these days
04:02 Elon Musk was a CTD? 😳
“Can a plane take a ton of TNT?” “Immediately no but let’s try”
The FAA really couldn't figure out a vetter way to put a hole in the wings than crashing it into the ground.. Like i dunno guys, you ever heard .50 cal? Flak ammunition? Throw that ho up in the air and just take a shot or two under the wing lol?
Assuming that navy water curtain is top secret now.
the big 3 need to do testing at the military test areas… half the vechiles would not pass. or be put in production 😎
Today is so different I don't think anything is tested good everything breaks I'm miss the good old days ☺️
Crash testing is why collision repair cost so much. There are
co out there who make cheaper replacement body parts.
HOWEVER it was quickly found that these parts do not stand
up in a collision like factory parts. ALSO, It was found that Bobs
auto collision down the block works cheaper than the dealership
HOWEVER Bob is not familiar with every make & model on the
road So as such the insurance co got into the habit of quoting
a collision repair using dealership labor rates & factory parts
at dealership prices. So, many cars with minor collision damage
are totaled because the repair cost is so high.
!
Well let's just consider 1&3 to get Cancer…
That woman talking about the condom strength sounds so depressed 😂 like her husband could never break one
How about an airliner crashing into the Pentagon or maybe some tall buildings.
Crash test dummies *hey we don't do crash tests anymore, why do people keep calling us dummies
