  33. I THINK THIS EPISODE IS INSTERESTING AND FASCINATING . . . ( BUT ) . . . WHEN THEY SAY THE CRASH TESTS ARE AT 30 TO 40 MILES AN HOUR (( IS WAY WAY )) TO (( SLOW )) FOR SOME CRASH TESTING . WITH (( IMPATIENT AND MORONS AND IDIOTS )) ON THE ROADS THEY SERIOUSLY SHOULD HAVE SOME OF THE SAME CRASH TESTS DONE AT (( 60 TO 80+ )) MILES AN HOUR . TO COMPARE THE CRASHES FROM (( 30 MILES AN HOUR TO 80+ MILES AN HOUR )) TO (( COMPARE THE DIFFERENCES )) IN THE SPEEDS OF THE SAME CRASHES . I TRULY HAVE (( SEEN ))(( MY SHARE )) OF (( IMPATIENT/MORON/IDIOT DRIVER )) OVER MY (( 2 DECADES )) OF (( BIG TRUCK DRIVING )) OF (( IMPATIENT/MORON/IDIOT DRIVERS ))(( TAKING ))(( HUGE RISKS ))(( TO TRY AND SAVE ))(( A SECOND )) . . .     “If I give you back all of the sports and Spanish channels, could I please have the History2 channel?”
    Time Warner/Spectrum, said no.

  37. 42:55 The narrator gives a hint to how old this show is. I'd love to see a new version of this, showing how much computer simulation and other tech has changed testing processes. Although, I'm not sure if it would fit into the "because aliens" format of The History Channel these days

  40. The FAA really couldn't figure out a vetter way to put a hole in the wings than crashing it into the ground.. Like i dunno guys, you ever heard .50 cal? Flak ammunition? Throw that ho up in the air and just take a shot or two under the wing lol?

  44. Crash testing is why collision repair cost so much. There are
    co out there who make cheaper replacement body parts.
    HOWEVER it was quickly found that these parts do not stand
    up in a collision like factory parts. ALSO, It was found that Bobs
    auto collision down the block works cheaper than the dealership
    HOWEVER Bob is not familiar with every make & model on the
    road So as such the insurance co got into the habit of quoting
    a collision repair using dealership labor rates & factory parts
    at dealership prices. So, many cars with minor collision damage
    are totaled because the repair cost is so high.
