God bless him! A lay minister who casts off the things of this world seems even more difficult to do than being a priest or nun. A priest will still have shelter, food, etc. A lay minister is on his own. I pray for him and will ask him to pray for me too. I would like even a bit of Brother Biagio's strength, grace and perseverance.

We should pray a lot for the priests. They are Christ’s representatives on earth and they are more subjected to temptations than we are. I saw Pope Benedict three times in my dreams; he asked me to pray for him. This was before his resignation. Please brothers and sisters let’s pray and sacrifice for them so that they become good, holy shepherds to their flocks.

This Brother Biagio was a Saint, and it's so true that for an urban hermit it's more difficult in a way than for a hermit in the desert for the distractions are more, they're so many people and noises around and everything is getting so expensive. That to be one who really need to have this call for Holy God and to have His blessings and help. May it be so for all those who have answered the cal to this way of life. Amen!

He worries about the “short” fashion; what about the “beloved” pope’s action towards the sodomi.tes? The real poorest of the poor are the people misguided by decades of modernist “theology”, those who are at risk of much more then just physical suffering or death, those who are well on their way to ETERNAL death if no one helps them turn from their ways! This pope is hardly a Christian, much less a Catholic. He seems to be an enemy of the church, not it’s supreme pastor! I wish I could tell him a couple words of advice, being just a simple man , but I don’t think this man listens to the little men; he prefers the likes of Rothchild and his cronies! May God save us from such “shepherds”!
Thank you, Brother Biagio. This spiritual caution is true to all: clergy, religious & lay. We all who are believers of our Lord Jesus Christ need to remain as His salt on earth by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I cannot help but cower at the thoughts of this Holy Man, when casting his gaze toward the US.
Pope Francis is not protecting the church. He is allowing the wolves to roam and bite the flock. Germany comes to mind.
