  1. Instead of upgrading to windows 11, or wondering if moving your SSD to a new system will have the issue still, you should do a complete fresh install of windows. That eliminates there being any issue with an existing/old installation.

  2. Think your crashing is just driver issues. Updating to Windows 11 won't fix it. First thing I'd do is use DDU by KitGuru and reinstall your graphics driver. Graphics driver corruption is a very common problem. I've had to do it twice in the last 5 years and even had to do it for my brother.

The corruption is almost guaranteed as well if you replace your GPU without using DDU as now windows is expecting 2 in your system.

  3. If you do use display driver uninstaller you need to put your computer in safe mode first. DDU is meant to take high priority on your system to remove errors that graphics updates cause and running it right away will likely not fix the problem.

There's many ways to put your PC in safe mode so it's up to you how you do it. You can hold shift and press restart on the login screen, you can turn your computer on and off 3 times in a row quickly, or you can even type a command.

  4. You unironically saying Windows 8 was good tells me you know nothing about computers 😂. That was the windows phone tiles os with no desktop. They caved with 8.5 to bring desktop back. Why don’t you just send JayzTwoCents a message and ask him his thoughts on your issue?

  5. If you have 4080 I had the same issue. I had to send it back to the manufacturer and they replaced it. The power cable port had and issue and would randomly crash out of no where.
