  1. You can add traits and sockets to your gear using Apotheosis. You need to crush unwanted gems by dropping an anvil on them to create gem dust. Then convert unwanted gear with traits to get another component. Combine new gear, gem dust and the color-tiered component in another device and select the trait combo you want. Higher tiers will have one or two slots empty after the enchant to use as you wish.

  2. You can put multiple of the same Data Model in a Deep Learner, and 1 kill will give all of the copies a +1. So you can train up multiple Data Models at the same time.
The Deep Learner works from any inventory slot, not just a baubles slot.
You can have many Deep Learners in your inventory at once and they will all work. You can train up dozens of the same data model at the same time.
Data models will train themselves when they are in Simulation Chambers, so you only really need to use the Deep Learners to get them up to Basic tier.

  3. Tips for jet packs:- hover off = faster flying up & hover on = faster flying forwards when using sprint

Once you got a data model on the mob you want you need to insert it into the deep learner in order to level it, the levels determine how much of the mob look you can farm out of it so it's advised to max it out first before you do that. Hostile neural networks is a great mod and much easier then woot for mob farms and gives alot more loot too.

  4. You can break down existing gems and tiered items to rarity materials and gem dusts. Then use them on a reforging table to add apotheosis stats to your item. Higher tier rarity materials grant better overall stats and higher chance to add empty sockets

  5. You should check out the mod "Flux Networks" because it provides a really simple solution to wireless power. It's not really too expensive, other than some eyes of ender and a small bit of redstone, so it's great for early-ish game.

  6. You CAN add a socket to crafted gear, actually!
You'll need a reforging table from Apotheosis, which will allow you to take gem dust and materials from an apotheosis salvaging table, in order to add affixes to your gear, similarly to an enchanting table; the max level affix includes a socket.

So you can get some incredibly powerful gear by making silent gear, adding affixes via apotheosis, and finally enchanting it.

  7. Priority one on extra backpacks when looting dungeons. Those are often Iron tier. That's 54 extra item stacks per backpack. You can easily pilfer-and-go with these things.
Also, I've never seen a Roguelike dungeon cut through a small hill like that, much less with a jukebox. It looks like it's inviting you in for a party.

  8. The gear has a color as the shovel you found that was purple, and it is really good sins you can make that "lvl" of the item into a purple moddifier with you can use on your gear aswell 😊🙈

  10. @sjin you should check out Ars nouveau because it can allow you a spell early on to break blocks at a distance, including spawners, but you can also bring magical trees to life to protect you base and colony. BTW will there a be a xmas special? with jolly ol' saint Sips paying a visit? can't wait to see what lore this season has in store!

  12. Sjin, if you build an ender chest and plug it into the computer you can take a matching ender pouch and loot without having to worry about inventory space. Just make sure your base is chunk loaded.

  13. Sjin if you put your refined obsidian armor(or any other armor) into an apotheosis table (I believe the reforging table) you can combine rarity materials (You get these by putting spare armor with affixes into a salvaging table and it will give you the rarity material based on the color/rarity of the item) and gem dust (you get by crushing apotheosis gems underneath an anvil) and once you do that you will most likely receive a socket on your armor which you can then use a vanilla smithing table to put on. You can do this with all armor and tools. Hope this helps

  14. You can fix your power gen issue very easily with Mekanism. Make a Crusher, a PRC, an Electrolytic Separator, and grab your Gas Burning Generator. Hook up the Electrolytic Separator and the PRC to a water source (sinks OP) and feed the Hydrogen from the Separator into the PRC. Feed just about any organic material into the Crusher. Potatoes are the simplest great option (Hopper Botany Pot on top), but with a bit more effort melons are the best (Hopper Botany Pot should produce the full melon, feed that into a Compacting Drawer or something else that will break it down into 9 slices, then feed those into the Crusher). Just about any automated farm will do though, as long as it doesn't use RF. Crusher will produce Biofuel, which is then fed into the PRC as well. PRC will turn Hydrogen, Water, and Biofuel into Ethylene and Substrate. Pull out the Substrate to avoid a backup (I'd set it aside in a drawer but trashing it works too). Feed the Ethylene into the Gas Burning Generator. Produces a ton of power. 1 mb of Ethylene will produce 11280 RF according to the Mekanism guide site. I know ATM 7 TTS reduced it but that's because Snad grew a cactus every tick making for a very quick and easy farm for it, so idk if it's been reduced in ATM 8.

Also, unless this was changed at some point, an Energy Upgrade will not reduce the energy consumption of an Electrolytic Separator, only increase its internal energy storage, but the Speed Upgrade will still increase the energy consumption. That being said, burning Ethylene should more than sustain you for a while. I believe at top efficiency, one PRC setup can power up to 4 Generators. Also, assuming your Ethylene production can keep up, the Generator's power production will fluctuate to match your power needs, producing less power and burning slower if you don't need much power and producing more power and burning faster if you need more power, up to the max limit (11280 by default, possibly lower if they reduced it this pack).

If you get far enough into Evilcraft, a Box of Eternal Closure can later be used for mob farms, letting you get spawn eggs or even used to generate loot.

That dungeon with the jukebox had more levels further down, getting progressively more difficult with more mobs and getting progressively better loot. Hard to say if it's worth it given the ship you just raided though

  15. Sjin, I can see that you enjoy playing all the mods mining colonies so I was wondering if instead of building offline, could you create your next build in the series where we can see it. I love watching you build more than any other Minecraft builder. Take care!

  16. I can't speak for the mod, but in real life neural networks the "model" is the file that contains the actual map of the neurons and all their weights, biases, and activation functions. You specify all the inputs and outputs, the overall structure of how the neurons are linked, then provide it with a series of questions and correct answers, and let it "train" itself, through trial and error figuring out the optimal way to get from unsolved question to correct answer. Once trained, you should be able to show the model a question it hasn't seen before and have it determine a correct answer. I use "question" and "answer" loosely, a question might be a photograph of a bee on a flower, and the answer would then be a box drawn around the bee with a label "bee".

I suspect the mod would work like a real neural network, you've collected some questions about the mob you clicked, and at some point you can give it an answer you want it to find in the form of better or specific loot drops, but you may need to wait a long time for the model to train itself, or actively hunt a lot of that particular mob to gather more question and answer data to perform the training. If the mod is true to life, variety is key, so you may want to hunt the mobs at different light levels, in different biomes, at different times of day, underground, overground, wombling free etc.
