Missional Discipleship w/ Jon Ritner Part 2

Check out part two of our bonus video episodes of the GC Podcast with author and church planter, Jon Ritner. In 2023 we will be sharing content around the process of discipling and developing our ministry workers. We hope these episodes will lay the foundation for our denominational focus next year. Jon will also be the keynote speaker at the GCI Denominational Celebration in July 2023, and this is an excellent opportunity to get to know him a little better.

Listen in as Cara and John discuss best practices for team-based ministry.

Jon pastored locally for 20 years; serving a “mega-church” in Williamsburg, Virginia, planting “micro churches” in Brussels, Belgium, and then re-missioning an existing church in Hollywood, CA around missional incarnational paradigms and practices. Today, Jon coaches church and non-profit leaders looking to adapt their organizations to a post-Covid and post-Christendom culture. Jon is part of the Forge America tribe, a missional training organization that equips churches and individual believers to engage as missionaries in the places they are already doing life. He also trains leaders with the V3 Movement and Fuller Theological Seminary. Jon serves as Vice-Chair of Communitas’ Board of Directors. Jon graduated from The College of William and Mary in Virginia (B.S. 1997) and Trinity International University (M.Div. 2002).
