5:55 I personally do think it’s a reference to mirko crocop. He fought in both k-1 and PRIDE which were the biggest kickboxing and mma organization in the world in the early 2000’s. Both of these organizations were founded and held mainly/exclusively in Japan. Crocop was also known for his incredible kicks that his legs were called “right leg hospital, left leg cemetery” and is a very well respected fighter in Japan and abroad.

I just realized: I think most of her moves make a "Lunar" reference as a nod to the Chinese Legend of Chang'e, who lives on the moon with her Loyal Companion, The Moon rabbit. (While it sounds weird, it is probably just "The man in the Moon" in a different form, i.e. the Dark spots on the Moon looking like some sort of Pattern and people mking up a Story about what it could be)
