Welcome to Part 23: Miraculous Troublemaker, in which Professor Jinx, a.k.a. Kim, has taken a liking to his new powers and starts to torment those around him. Marinette can only watch helplessly as she looks for an opportunity to become Ladybug. Will she find her moment before something tragic happens?

Miraculous Ladybug is a show with fundamental issues and its canon origin for the characters does not escape from being problematic. So out of my disappointment, and with a sprinkle of inspiration, I rewrote the origin story into something I think would be more enticing as a show. I think this version works out some of the frustration that the current iteration of the show has including giving Master Fu and Cat Noir reasons for existing, doing away with the love square as soon as possible, providing the opportunity for stakes that actually matter, making Gabriel more interesting, and actually connecting Gabriel to Marinette. Are all of these things necessary to make Miraculous Ladybug better? No! The current elements of the show are mostly fine, the execution just needs some help. Nevertheless, I tampered with the story anyway =P

  2. 🌊 Alright, time for some action!

    I can imagine how scary the situation must've felt for both Miss Bustier and Marinette, but good thing Rena Rouge came to the rescue! Man, she really was the MVP this in this part once again x) Honestly, what a clever way to distract the villain to buy Mari and their teacher time to get away! And that final line by illusion Ladybug was pretty cool, not gonna lie. 😎

    Now what I'm wondering is, how are two illusions going to fight off the villain long enough before he realizes what's up? 🤔 I mean, Ladybug is 100% an illusion, but I'm kinda wondering about Chat Noir. Yes, Adrien must've had a hard time getting out the situation he was in, but he potentially could have done so. Mmmmmh…. I guess I'm gonna have to wait for the next few parts to get my answers. 😅 Will be eagerly looking forward to them!

  3. The Proverb was a nice bit of foreshadowing. Very well done. 🌊 First off. I thoroughly enjoyed the fail puns. Good times there. Secondly I like how you're handling the fight so far. This is the second fight you've done in this show if I'm remembering correctly? You're doing a great job at it regardless, and I'm hyped for more. This fight has only just begun after all. 🌊

  28. Hello, I've been following your entire series recently and I gotta say this has been one of my favorite rewrites for a show ever! I'm not exactly a fan of the original show due to its many problems with the writing and Thomas Astruc doing a really bad job with handling online interactions, but I'm absolutely in love and invested with this entire rewrite. Though the rewrite has been my first exposure to your channel, I've decided to subscribe and follow through all of your other videos unrelated to miraculous because I find your content genuinely fun to listen to.

    With that being said I've been bugging my entire team to come and check out your rewrites and videos 😂😂 I've been wanting them to check your story out for a long time.
