  1. QB coaches (especially younger ones) turned head coach typically have soft teams. Everything centers around the QB position, which is easily the most important player on the team, but with the QB coach-HC that emphasis become outsized. That is why bringing in Brian Flores was important. The last few games notwithstanding, the tackling was better and they were more physical than last season when they were pushed around. But KOC is still pulling all the strings for the offense, and it's all about the passing game. KOC can adapt, but does he want to?

  2. Yes big problem koc is still the head coach and and are terrible gm there only know marketing not personal or Decision-making in general don't matter if we pick top 10 or number 1 the guy would find away to mess it up I'm waiting till he trades Justin Jefferson or pass on sighing kirk cousins to draft are next Christian ponder but the cat know nothing about personal or Talent

  3. Teams that have offensive lines that can play bully ball have a big advantage. The Vikings just don’t play that style of football and don’t draft for that style of football. They are a finesse-y wide zone team, in theory anyways. And I will say Josh Oliver wasn’t a sufficient answer and a waste of money. We got little bang for the buck. PFF grades can sometimes be misleading.

  4. Here is what I would do in the draft in the first 3 rounds. 1st round, a CENTER or a FULLBACK. Second round, the one you don't take in the first round. Third round Quarterback. Then run the ball.

  5. Gentlemen, you going to repeat the same things you've been doing over and over? . Nothing's going to change. We need to get rid of that coach . It's Kirk cousins all over again . No we have to wait for this coach to learn to be a coach . This coach is not even a play caller . The gm is a knucklehead too .. the owners have been bamboozled . They're two guys with tons of money . They don't want to win the super bowl . They want to make a profit .

  6. Start by getting a center that can anchor. Then get an edge rusher, nose tackle. And if your QB is there with first pick? Get him first. Work from the trenches out.

  7. Honestly we should’ve hired Stefanski as HC with what he was able to do with that offense in 2019. He minimized Kirk’s turnovers, pounded the rock, and made them one of the most explosive in the league.

He’s in a tier above KOC. And he’s probably the best HC the expansion browns have ever had.

  8. Lions game should be a tryout for 3rd and 4th stringers. Hell, promote some people from the practice squad. I'd rather have young talent that is hungry and eager to make plays versus aging vets that have given up.

  9. I really enjoy watching old school smashmouth style football. I also understand that doesn't work in today's NFL. And to be honest, with talent like Jefferson and Addison, it'd be crazy not to utilize them in passes.

But in all honesty, I would be happy even with a losing season as long as our run game gets lauded as one of the best in the league. Those bragging rights are more important to me than making a playoff and then dying in the wild card round.

  10. KOC simply doesn’t understand the nuances of calling plays. He has tunnel vision, and just can’t see it or feel the game out. Which is confusing considering he’s been in the league and is a “professional”…

KOC always in shotgun spread when it’s 3rd and 1 or 2 drive me nuts! That kills our probability to get it!! Get under center! So you have the threat of the run and play action. Sheesh it’s not difficult. Softest approach possible. Man we blew it by not signing Harbaugh

  11. Our real issue is we don't have a home field advantage. I go to a Vikings vs Packers game every year, for the last 15 years. When I am at Minnesota our fans suck. I am usually the only one standing in the section making noise on 3rd down. When I go to lambeau they sometimes stand the whole game and make noise when they are on defense every play. We need to start holding our fans accountable.
