  1. I completely agree on the May take. He may be a riskier pick but the ceiling is a Super Bowl winner. Weā€™ve all seen the Vikings be pretty good for decades now, now I want them to take the risk that could pay off with the one thing none of us have ever seen.

  2. Haven't heard a peep from @andy about picking up an offensive lineman in 1st round for a couple weeks. That's good news. Can't wait for draft to be behind us so we can focus on the season.

  3. I had the opportunity to meet Beezy and his family. Theyā€™re absolutely wonderful people and all support the Bynum Foundation. Dude needs to win the Walter Payton award for his good works

  4. JJ's 3rd down completion pct gets better the longer the yards, 1-3yds 5/12= 41.7%, 4-6yds 12/18= 66.7%, 7-9yds 19/27= 70.4%, 10+yds 17/22= 77.3% and he went 7/8= 87.5% on 4th downs. I'd call that getting it pretty well done for the team

  5. maye or daniels yes…. but after that give me penix jr all day over mccarthy. id put faith in injurys history being overcome ala adrian peterson, more then id put faith in questionable talent… in my opinion on the talent. im no scout! Also cheer for whatever happens lets go man lets go

  6. Let's say the qb pick "busts" as in just plays at replacement level for 10% of the price of a replacement level free agent… still helps this team and let's us build a monster of a team that any QB would want to be with

  7. JJ McCarthy

    No Matter What

Idk why people think his ceiling isn't that high. He's got a cannon, good size(6'3" 220), clutch in big situations, good wheels/shifty, great at throwing on the run to either side, pretty good at making reads, can make off script played, and is roughly the same age as Maye.

The big knock on him is lack of reps. He's shined with the limited amount of reps he's been given though, so imo quality over quantity.

  8. Only two QBs in the top 4 are ready to start on Day One: Caleb Williams, and Jayden Daniels. Maye and McCarthy both need to sit at least half a season. The only other prospect that's ready to start right now is Michael Penix, who might just be the quickest to have a winning season. If Penix lands on the Raiders or the Dolphins, watch out!

  9. Something to note about Penix: His two arm injuries both were bone breaks, not shoulder tears, so his throwing was not affected. Both arm injuries healed 100 percent. Penix could be the true sleeper of this draft. If his team's OLine can pass protect, he could rack up great passing numbers.

  10. Any Cine update, or is he a special teamer at best? So many busts but some hits here and there. Detroit must have an amazing scouting department. There batting average on draft picks is amazing the last few years
