  1. I live in PG county where this happened. There are way too many aggressive and reckless drivers, speeding, overtaking lanes and coming across opposite lanes here. A cop just needs to be posted outside in many of these areas and is guaranteed to catch quite a few of them. Especially during rush hour and at night when people don't exercise patience. The police don't care it seems like here because I don't ever see them posted.

I was just coming back from New Jersey that night with my family and was on the road here at the time around 2am. I didn't see this but this could've easily happened to anyone. I guess we were just lucky.

It's so sad that it happened to three promising individuals like them. Especially one that just got drafted to the NFL and his life was taken away so senselessly as soon as he got accomplished his dream.

The driver that hit him is named Cori Clingman. She has a history of speeding offenses. According to reports, records reveal that she has been cited twice for speeding in 55 mph zones.
In 2018, she was caught driving 69 mph in a 55 mph zone, and in 2020, she was recorded traveling at 100 mph in the same type of zone. She served a year of unsupervised probation for her first offense, but the outcome of her second arrest remains unclear.

Police have indicated that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the collision, but Clingman has not yet been charged as the investigation continues.

The judge should throw the book at her this time. She wouldn't have done that if this wasn't such a common occurrence over here and gotten away with it previously.

  2. It's amazing how many people don't know the details of what happened blaming the football player for him being a passenger in a car that was driven by a high school classmate who was hit by a lady who the police think was intoxicated. I don't care if he was drunk, high, stone, reading a book or singing Barbra streisand. He wasn't driving the car. Stop stereotyping because of a racial bias.

  3. Florio. Driving period is dangerous. It's one of the most dangerous activities we do everyday and even if liquor or other intoxicants didn't exist it still extremely dangerous. Most accidents aren't caused by DUIs. Just reckless, distracted or bad drivers.

  4. Anytime someone passes its sad. But the older I get the more it hits me when someone young passes away. Because I realized that in my 20s I still had no idea of what I wanted in life. I was floundering. I am in my 30s and I am just now figuring it out. High school and a certification nearly 20 years ago was my last true personal accomplishments. I say all that to say the older I get the more I realize how little would be in my book of life if I passed in my 20s. So when someone dies young it has became much more sad the older I get. He accomplished what I am assuming was a major dream, making it to the NFL. RIP to him and his friends.

  5. What makes this so sad is that the 2 other young men who dued along with him. Were his H.S. friends and football teammates. The death of these 3 young have shaken the DMV area because the 3 young men were loved, known by many in the area, and the other 2 young men father's always were talking positive about their sons and their teammates along with their HS coach. My they forever rest R.I.P.
The young lady causing the accident is reported was driving while drunk! She also hit a 3rd car after hitting the Didge Charger forcing them off the road into several trees. 😢🙏🏾💜

  6. Being the driver of a vehicle in which killed another which happened to be a cousin. Not booze or drug related but mechanical after I had the exact same issue fixed hours prior from a top mechanics shop. My hearts go to anyone who passes in a accident because it is what it is. This case is different if the driver of the car which ran into the other vehicles on the road. This is about one selfish person who was drinking and driving. That is a accident by choice I have no pity for that person. I hope they endure what I have except that they never forget the lives they stole. People do not understand that when you kill a person you are wiping out everything that person was or would have been in that moment. My hearts go out to the families of those involved in the accident and those that are injured and still recovering. All we can do now is mourn the lost and take care of the wounded. Prosecute the driver and maybe they can be rehabilitated.

  8. Amazing that teams have to worry about players doing stupid things during off season. Shows that they simply cannot be trusted to make sound decisions. Money doesn’t equate to common sense.

  9. Hope the woman Cori Clingman is charged with DUI or reckless driving. I mean what huge damage she has caused. The men she killed were one of them NFL rookie who had the potential to make millions every year and change the livelihood of his family. How do you compensate that?

  10. The driver of the infinity should be charged for manslaughter. While driving on I-80 east heading from Stanhope to Morristown, I was driving in the center lane going at 70 mph when a car from behind me sped up cut in front of me just to slow down and stop almost completely just to try and exit. I had to quickly look over my left shoulder to see if the left lane was clear and change lanes to the left to avoid a collision. People need to know where they’re going and drive carefully smh.

  12. I understand why most of the reports of this tragic accident lead with Khyree Jacksons' name. But let us all remember the "Two others" were/are just as important to their friends and families. My heart and prayers go out to Isaiah Hazel's, Anthony Lytton Jr. and Khyree Jackson's families/friends and team mates.
