  25. Hi Simon! Amazing, mate! The last couple of days were really wonky on the bands, so it's awesome how well your tarp works! While you have the tape out, I have a challenge for you – how about building a slot antenna using a tarp and metal tape? If you thought that your current tarp loops are a blast, just you wait until you start messing around with slots! It will rip, strip, stretch, bend and blow your mind all at the same time, because on the face of it it should not work! 😛 One of my ham-buddies calls it the "homeopathic antenna", because what makes it work is nor really what there is, but what there isn't! Apart from the inherent weirdness of slot antennas, one of their main benefits are their wide bandwidth. Have fun in the sun! 73, Jan M7HNK
