Bro howd you even get this to work? Ive been trying to get my mini base map to load and it wont with the dlc enabled :/ even if i toggle it off it still wont load properly.

If you plant a thimble reed in a regular farm tile the dupes will water it with the polluted sink water. Just temporary of course, till you ranch the dreckos and work out the sand thing. But early game it works really well. I usually put mine in the latrine.
There is a sort of sand loop you can make, the deodorizers make clay from sand. Turn the clay into Ceramic in the kilns then crush the ceramic into Sand 1:1.

I'd probably put the Pip ranch on the left side in the 4-high room. Since it's four high already, you don't have to have as long of a room to get to 96 tiles.
