in the ancient hunt, you can sacrifice items for better loot. the better the item, the better the loot. there is a piglin merchant wich trades gold for gilded items. gold can be found in the acient hunt. lastly if you sacrifice enchantment points then there is going to be an "ancient" in the level. ancients are upgraded verrsions of other mobs but as a boss. the more enchant points, the more ancients.

You should stay behing the Cow Monostrosity. It will never activate the cube throwing phase and just keeps hitting in front of itself. And when you are behind him you won't take any damage. Or use Monke Shield
