Aside from the spooky moments, that zombie dungeon could be a really good farm point, even with the haste mining zombies and the spiders. Free loot, if the mobs are contained, that is! :3

Pretty sure that the reason you're not being allowed to sleep is where you're standing. After playing a replica of the old modpack I realized you have to be standing one block away and to the left/right behind the bed (It might also work while in front of the bed, haven't tested that one but from where you're standing when you click the bed I'm fairly certain it is as such) in order to consistently sleep. still no idea what mod does it or why, but at least I found a workaround lol, it saved me waaaay too many times to count. If you want proof, I'm in your discord, same username.
A tip for that dungeon that I use when I encounter them in one of my modded worlds is to build above them and break the spawners so they don't zerg you. Given that your mobs break blocks however, I don't know how well it will work lol.
