The slow progress of Ukraine’s counteroffensive is in part due to the hurdles laid down by the Russian army in southern and eastern Ukraine. Anticipating the counteroffensive, Russian forces had begun preparing the ground along Ukraine’s likeliest axes of advance. Russian workers excavated trenches, piled up earthen berms and laid out concrete obstacles for tanks. However, Ukraine had prepared a large force of special engineering vehicles to breach enemy defences. Watch the video to find out more.

Some mines can take multiple hits without exploding. Meaning following vehicles can trigger them.
What about a low flying drone with metal/mine detector? Preprogrammed fly path, good bottom sensors for precise low altitude. Sending coordinates of every suspicious detection to secondary drone which bombs the spot (under supervision?) with a small grenade? Maybe possible for roads only, not for rough terrain. Lot of drones and lot of grenades needed. EW?

Maybe it's time to use flail style de-ming equipment and have 😊operated remotely!. Reduce the risk to troops and clean the mines out 100 %.
Maybe the cluster munitions will be useful. One can blanket an area for advance with those, including trenches. The Russians use these too, so should be no ethical problem.

Standard soviet AT mines are actually on the small side as far as explosive yield. They will break a track/roadwheel and shear engine mounts, but wont breach belly armor of a tank. The crew will survive. They WILL breach the belly armor of a Russian or western APC. Standard soviet battle drill was if a tank hit a mine, the following tanks did not attempt to bypass, they would get behind and push the wounded tank, using it as a impromptu mine roller.
They could just send captured Orcs running in front of the tanks to clear mines.. just an idea

Brave people. What about just sending herds of cheap sheep 🐑🐑 or pigs? What about filling a box with car batteries then drive wheels with starter motors controlled by command wire and you have a simple deminer. You could add metal detectors or use it to drag a line of explosives to detonate the mines.
i remember the Argies laying mines in the falklands and the paras sent the sheep into the fields – dinner and mine clearance in one – send in the sheep! low cost and effective.
