  1. All the republicans are anti-abortion, until they or their daughters become pregnant and do not want to have a child. Then they're driving to other states that they haven't ruined with their vote.

  2. We do have tracking devices on planes, they're called transponders. I don't know about military airplanes, but all civilian planes are required to have one. I would've thought that military planes flying around in friendly airspace would be required to have one too, but I guess that's not the case.

  3. Love you guys but in regards to the F35 story: (an F35B, that was prolly worth 130+ million dollars due to being a higher block varient of the aircraft). Had a system malfunction leaving its transponder unable to respond to local ATC, on said aircraft, did not have radar reflectors installed for local civilian radar to see the aircraft(so ive heard). Basically makes it look like a either a cloud on low frequency radar bands, commonly used by… weather forcasting stations, or high frequency radar used by airports to track giant flying metal birds. The F35 looks like a small bird, on radar to ATC even if dialed in to look for… a small flying bird, about the size of a human hand. I have no idea as to why the pilot would have ejected, unless the pilot had loss some form of control of the aircraft, in which pilots are supposed to eject from the aircraft. Its gonna happen, and funny enough to look into of aircraft just, flying away on autopilot after humans thought the aircraft unrecoverable and yeeted the fuck out. Is weirdly common among military aircraft.

  4. When i was working on F-16s, the guys that only work that airframe would talk about how shitty the f35 was because the 16s took them down in training…. they obviously only read the headline. The capes of the 35 are crazy. Absolutely crazy. Yea, they cost a shit ton but they def got their monies worth. Still not a 22 though…

  5. Liberals: there is nothing wrong in asking for help

When the "woke" US military asks for help…

    Liberals: YOU GUYS ARE DUMB

  6. Elon Musk made CalTrans remove our bump markers (bot dots) from lane lines which showed up even when sun glare or rain hides painted lane markers and now he's demanding MORE changes to California freeways for his precious self? nice. I was in a friend's Tesla for 15 minutes not realizing he had a Tesla before I ask for a lift, and it tried to kill us twice.

  7. All aircraft, including stealth military aircraft, are equipped with radio transponders that broadcast the plane's position. These transponders can be turned on or off, and are usually required to remain on when flying over friendly civilian airspace.

  8. I remember back in 2017 when Bill Maher said the "N" Word on his HBO show, and he didn't even get cancelled. All he had to do was run a "I'm sorry" segment the following week and then HBO acted like it never happened.

  9. I get that the "appeal to business students" preamble was meant to be funny but he did say he wasn't mad at the auto industry for doing business and that part felt sincere. It's somehow become normal for those of us with legitimate criticisms of capitalism and business culture to offer a disclaimer that says that we're not mad about their pursuit of money. We somehow want to console people who we know are willing to lobby to change laws and use news, publicity and advertising to manipulate us into both needing cars and desiring them. But those people don't care if they have to manipulate laws in such a way that harms cities or the environment and encourages men to believe they have to own a particularly expensive or flashy one. A Honda Accord may not be either but once you have a hemi engine installed, put a spoiler on back and get that sweet custom paint job…all the dudes'll be jealous and when you drive by, all the ladies' panties will just drop! That's just nature! Anyway, there's no need to say "no offense" to a group of people whose very discipline in life is to manipulate systems, laws and even technologies in a way that extracts as much wealth as possible from the rest of us, no moral component required.
