  1. Nickleback do simple very well and that’s why so many hate them. They hate that something so simple is so successful but doing simple well is really hard and restraining yourself is tough. While I do love Portnoys take better I still appreciate what nickleback did here.

  2. this is getting kind of ridiculous. I don't listen to Nickelback or anything closely related. I still have hear this song a dozen times, just by simply existing. To believe that a rock musician like this hasn't heard this song before is absurd. Are these artists living under a rock?

  3. Although this series is nothing short of amazong, i want to see drummers come up with covers for songs that are completely different from what they’ve played in their culture. Like the soul culture from the sub-continent which are very different from western style soul

  4. I can't imagine that Nickelback would have reached out to Mike only to not allow him to spice up their songs with his own takes. That would be such a waste of talent, and i'm sure they know it could only be good for them to allow the extra creativity

  5. I absolutely hate it that Nickleback is crapped on by so many people. They have some exceptional songs, very singable, good jams. And Mike…he's just a monster drummer! And WHERE DO WE GET THIS VERSION???
