Nickleback do simple very well and that’s why so many hate them. They hate that something so simple is so successful but doing simple well is really hard and restraining yourself is tough. While I do love Portnoys take better I still appreciate what nickleback did here.
As a Vancouverite, I'm a bit sad that Mike never got to play drums for Nickelback. Thankfully, Mike coming back to Dream Theater makes up for that.

this is getting kind of ridiculous. I don't listen to Nickelback or anything closely related. I still have hear this song a dozen times, just by simply existing. To believe that a rock musician like this hasn't heard this song before is absurd. Are these artists living under a rock?
